I got a call from LC Maxwell legal company asking for Maude Miller. Def not me.

I received a call from those number stating, my sons name saying hiss name and ss number is connected to an ongoing theft investigation. They also stated they are mediators and at the end of the call the woman stated you have been notified. What the Heck is that all about? Sounds like a collections call that is doing something illegal to me.

My daughter got the same call about my husband. They had correct names for family members. However, one was incorrect and this tipped her off. Be careful and never give personal information over the phone.

The woman tried telling me that they had litigation against me for a payday loan from 2011.    I told her I've never heard about this company.   She said well they have all your information and they have litigated this.   I asked the docket # on the litigation account.   She said they don't have that.     I smell a scam.     I Googled the phone number which they said was from LC Maxwell and associates and it the # for a tattoo parlor in Richmond,  VA.

I received the same call yesterday and was happy that i was able to pay off something  i let slid by. I was happy to have someone that was nice to me this time and gave me time to pay it

SHILL ALERT. So you know the number who called you but came to a website that helps people identify unknown callers and complain about scammers, to talk about this legitimate company, credit/collections and how nice they were to you. That seems a little odd. What is their legal name and address... SHILL? Please tell me more. And maybe Jordan, f and Shelly U. can help fill in the blanks.

So you ignored all the mail you received regarding this bill, only deciding to pay it when a "nice" bill collector called you about it? Why is that? You said the collector "gave you time to pay it" but you HAD time to pay it, all the time you ignored the bills you received in the mail. Why was this time the collector gave you special?

Received a call from the same number and I had already googled it and found out it was a scam, then I called the number to see what it was about (a pay day loan) and they were trying to contact my bank (which didn't have the info) and I told them I've never made a payday loan with them and they are scammers and I'm going to report them and just hung up.  Not sure were they got my information from, but I block them every time...All you scammers who are lying about on this website about paying the loan, as Sam said above you are the scammers.  Get a real job!!!

Apparently you failed reading comprehension...The poster clearly stated that no payday loan was taken out.
If the poster is in Georgia, you cannot collect on a payday loan since the state ran the lenders out back in 2004.
So, take your scam elsewhere shill.

call from 844 282 6441  meassage left  a woman said my payment would be drawn from my account,good luck with that I don't have any accounts with any-body,o yea I should call them bck if there will be a problem with the payment,,like I said good luck with that,they never ounce mentioned my name or account    ummmmmmmmmmmm

Received couple of calls from them, nothing but weird recording when I answered. Called them back, woman answered "LC Maxwell (or LC Magnus or Elsie Magnus) & Associates". She started asking me questions, I just said "Thank you" and hung up on her.

The lady left a message saying my name.was given as a reference for a lady I've NEVER heard of with the last name...in a complaint against her call them..then she called the next day with the same lady name and different reason..lol..yeah..SHILL..you aren't to bright as your colleagues of scammers to think ALL who post here have complaints yet you don't..who do you think will actually believe you? Lol..maybe a [***] as yourself
