- Frustrated with Scammers| 1 replyI have received phone calls from 844.283.7889 with an automated voice claiming that I have a debt, that I must call back and etcetera... This is very frustrating because it's among eight different phone numbers that pop up on Caller ID. Energy company scams, debt scams, makes you wonder about the lack of jobs that people actually do this to bother and steal from people.
- Call type: Debt collector
- Tamianth replies to Frustrated with ScammersConsider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

- FED UP04/23/2015 11:56 AM SCAM CALL! Rec'd call from this number abt debt collection/left message. I called back to ask for my number to be removed form the calling list (I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY) and the foreign representative tells me that the Company name she works for is EOSCCA and that this company handles many different financial matters. She kept asking me for my phone number and I told her she already could see that. Then she tells me what my number is.???? and is vague when I question her about why I was called in the first place. When I asked her what these company letters stand for, she emphatically tells me this is the company name????. She would not directly answer any of my questions. DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIS CALLER!!!
