Well here is a suggestion.  If you really believe that the DNC does not work, take you listing off.  Then come back here in say 6 months and tell us (truthfully) how that worked out for you.

Relax dude, it's just a user name...this guy is probably just frustrated with the volume of telemarketing calls they get. How about you just be happy that he's helping the group by posting the offending numbers for the rest of us? Geez...

I don't see where the poster asked for any suggestions. And the funny thing is, he'll probably never see this because really, do you go back to look at OLD posts? How about getting back to the task at hand...letting others know about scam calls. You  entered this phone number to get to this page yet you don't bother to say anything about it. What's the point?

Back to the reason we're here, I got called by this number as well, 3X in the last 2 days. I answered the third time, got dead air and then cut off. Another one for the call blocker.

....is to help people.  That IS the major reason this website is here.  And yes, people do come back and check for answers.

This was a political survey. The call came in at 9:35 PM.  

We're on the Do Not Call list, which shows the Do Not Call list is a bunch of b-ll-sh-t.

I dislike the invasion of privacy that occurs during political election campaigns.  

Thinking about cancelling home phone service and getting some peace and quiet.

The only thing this call shows about the Do Not Call list is how ignorant you are since you have no clue as to what the purpose of the list is and what type of callers are required to screen against the list. Political surveys are EXEMPT and those callers are not even permitted to know who is on the list.

They called at 10:28 p.m. I filed a complaint with the FCC.

Call came in. Hit the big red button on my call blocker. No more calls from them.

Called at almost 10 pm during the week - answered but they would not say anything - figured it's either a political  call, political survey (like I want to tell them who I am voting for)  or other telemarketer. Will be so glad when the elections are over.

Called about 8 PM  PST.  Started to ask questions about what kind of car I drive.  Told him a 1940 LaSalle.  (which is true)He asked is that the only car i own and I said, "yeah" (which is not true) .  He hung up.

this number keeps calling me.  I tell them I have already mailed in my voting ballot.  Once they hung up on me when I said that but they keep calling.  Dumb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received a call @ 8:00 PM.  I did not answer, just put the number into google.com coming to this site.

This one called but I didn't answer as it showed a Toll Free Caller--and I refuse to answer those.

I DID remove my number(s) from the DNC list and the calls have indeed DECREASED!  They haven't stopped, but there are not nearly as many as there used to be!  I firmly believe this is because the illigetimate, scammers, frauds, etc can no longer see my number.  The DNC list is a perfect place for the 'bad guys' to obtain numbers!!!

Why would the bad guys spend $16,228 per year to purchase the DNC list numbers, when they can get lists created by scammers and spammers for much, much less?

Seriously?  Not possible.  The only way AT&T will charge me is is I make the call or if I accept a collect call.  This is the USA, not Europe, where they do charge by the call received or made.  Stop making accusations that are designed to scare people.  

As for the call I just got from this number, the guy with an hispanic accent asked for my spouse using the hispanic translation of his name.  I found this to be just plain silly, and since I speak spanish, I told him so in that language and embellished on my chastising.  He was a bit flabbergasted by the time I got finished with his a$$.  That's what he gets for waking me up!!!!!!!!!

According to the posts here this is a survey and they are not covered under the DNCR.

I answered the phone and was told it was some Catholic survey that would take no more than 3 minutes of my time.
Caller: "Are you a practicing Catholic?"
Me: "No."
Caller: "Have you ever been Catholic?"
Me: "No."
Caller: "Not even growing up?"
Me: "No, not ever."
Caller: "Ok, well that completes my survey. Thank you for your time."
Me: "No problem."

She sounded rather dumbfounded that I have never been Catholic, lol.
