Will not stop calling and texting, claims to be from indentitytheft.gov    Had to block number.

could be identitytheft.gov (I filed report) but this is suspicious!  No reason to call repeatedly!  It is supposed to be the federal trade commission- careful not to give too much personal info!

It does appear to be the FTC. I filed a report yesterday and missed a call today, so it appears to be legit. Even so, I would be cautious about responses.

This number calls my home phone and my fax machine. It's a Robocall that leaves a message.  Check your call logs ASAP!

This in no way, shape or form a legit call from the FTC. These fools whoever they are called our landline at 11:00 p.m.

Yes, this area code has called from a few different numbers over the last couple of days.  It is not the FTC.  The only contact I have had with them since filing a claim is through e-mail.  Most of their numbers are 202 area code.

They are NOT the FTC.  The FTC does not call people even when they file a report.  These are scammers hoping to screw the unsuspecting.

Received repeated text messages with same access code on several messages and a different code on another.  I have no idea why i received this code.  I doubt this is the FTC sending this message unless someone is trying to access some of my information

Just submitted report to FTC 2 days ago, now get this call.  Glad I checked here first.  Was going to call them back.

Oddly they call every time I access my FTC claim. Never leave a message, nothing. When I call from my burn phone it has a recording on how to file....but in that AI voice. Sounds very fraudulent.

I received a text for this number stating it was from IdentityTheft.gov with verification numbers. I did not reply and am being super careful after being hacked.
