It’s identitytheft.gov with the verification code when signing in.

That is what all the other posts say as well, however, it doesn't mean they would call you with a verification code UNLESS you were trying to sign in. Most every verification code  comes with a message saying 'if you did not request...." to ignore it.
If you get a call and didn't try signing in or make a request, then that would be a good indication either someone input a wrong number or someone is trying to access your account.

Use common sense about getting any text/call/email with a verification code you get out of the blue.

Got 3 text that said:  your identity theft.gov verification code is
Then a 6 digit number all the same. Then got to robo calls with same verification code.

I received a email from this number. I looked it up it’s not legitimate. Because I did file a complaint with FTC

Phone numbers aren't alive so they can't send emails.
