Southwest Indian Foundation is a legitimate charity that operates in New Mexico. They run a school for disabled Indian children, a domestic violence shelter, an alcohol treatment center and distribute Christmas food baskets to needy Indians, mostly Navajo, on the Navajo Reservation. They also take donations and supply wood/coal stoves to replace metal barrels as a source of winter home heating.

Now, having described the charity, I have to add that they don't cold call. If you ordered from them in the past, they might call. If you have never heard of them and never ordered or donated, it isn't likely they would call you. So this may be a scam.

Called landline again. This number has called since March 2017 persistently. CID Unknown Name. Leaves no message. A legitimate caller leaves a proper message with contact info and reason for call. This is NEVER done by the CRIMINALS that call looking for victims. They are NOT telemarketers they are CRIMINALS. We NEVER answer ANY unsolicited call.

Getting numerous calls at all hours of the day from this number 844-381-2873.  They never leave a message. How can they be stopped?  It would cost me $3 a mo plus $5 activation fee just to turn it on.

numerous calls today 6/16/2017; I answered second call. when they asked for a specific person I asked who was calling; they said one of her support groups; wouldn't be more specific; I told them they had the wrong number and to take it off their calling list and then hung up.  No members of support groups here, scam for sure

The calls from this number started again.  No message left. No answer if I pick up the phone before my phone messaging system does. I assume it's some kind of scam. Or maybe just harassing.I call it a prank call since nobody has ever talked to anyone here

This number has been calling me since March. At first it was only once or twice a day. Then it may have stopped for awhile, but now they are calling multiple times daily. Never leave a message.

Received another call from 844-381-2873 and this time I answered. When I asked the man to take me off his call list he said, "You do know this is a charity." I said, "Yes, now it is my right to have my name taken off the call list immediately" at which point he hung up the phone.

Had a rest from these calls for a few months, but now have started up again,Will block.

Calls 3-4 times a day— never leaves a message.  I never answer but they keep calling.  Irritating!

Has called several times a day for the past week— starts at 8 AM & as late as 8:30 PM.  I never answer!  They never leave a message.

I  have  been  receiving calls  from (TOLL  FREE NUMBER:844-381-2873)  several  times  a  day  for a  week
from 11/1/20 to  11/05/20.  as early  as 7:30am- Never answer calls  and  no messages by caller. Will  attempt  to
place on no robo call  list or block list.
