Got same call just now. She hung up on me when I questioned her. Just what scam are they running?

I just got the all from IRS with the following message:  ."Hello this call is officially a final notice from IRS Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filling lawsuit on your name because you had tried to do a fraud with the IRS Internal Revenue Service. And we are taking legal action and we are issuing an arrest warrant on your name to get more information regarding this case file. Just call us back on our department number 844-406-9362. I will repeat it 844-406-9362. Thank you  Can't  believe they have enough nerve to leave a message

Received voice mail from this number stating that a warrant for my arrest was being issued due to fraudulent tax filing.

When I asked for her ID BADGE NUMBER she put me on hold and suddenly the call went dead.

Do not fall prey to this scam. People get so nervous when they hear it's the  IRS.
The IRS will always give their name and ID NUMBER before asking anything of you!

YES it's fake.  The IRS will NEVER contact you via phone.

just got a call from the same number about warrant for my arrest because of IRS fraud.  Two calls within an hour from different phone number saying the same thing.

I received a call from this number, message left. The message claimed to be the IRS about a lawsuit against us, and threat of an arrest warrant for IRS fraud, on my part. A second call, same message, ID'd as coming from Dallas, TX, phone number 469-754-0740.

IRS threatening me?  The gentleman from Africa asked me my name.  I asked him what this was in reference to.  He said I cannot give  you any information until you give me your information.  That's when I said "this is a scam" and hung up.

Why does our government simply allow these scams to exist? Pretty simple to get rid of but they do nothing about it. They say they are the irs but they are not.

I started talking to her about a "dog" in the background.... what kind of dog does she have.....   and if she could please stay on the line long enough for the police to track where she is calling from.....  she hung up

just got call came twice today Asian woman insisted I had to give name but no mssg ever referenced name and been getting calls for someone else for years . I never gave name This was frighteningly real. People will get scammed.

got a call form this number. called them back. sounds like a call center in the background. quite noisy. man named "johnson". could not understand his first name. heavy ndian accent. told me i defrauded the IRS and hid $7,000 in income. had my old address.gave him my new address like a dummy. he said if could either settle or fight in court. he was agressive and threatneing. said i needed to update the IRS every time I move, this is clearly a scam. i did have afraudulent retrun filed last year in my name with the same old address. is uspect this is rhe same outfit that filed the fraudulent return.

Woman from this line had all my information and Said I intentionally defrauded the IRS $6897 from 2010 to 2015 and the IRS was going to forcefully collect under article 63318.  She told me my local Sheriff's office would be out to arrest me today. I told her she was a fraud and what she could go do and hung up.

I just called back and blocked my phone number. When the Asian sounding girl answered I gave her a fake name and then told her she sounded very nice and I tried to make "sexy talk" with her just to screw with her. She told me to "F*ck off". I guess they aren't willing to put in the required effort to carry out their scam...not that it ever would have worked on me.

Received this scam call multiple times.  IRS doesn't call.  They mail letters.

Recieved call 2/28/17  10:15 am. Recorded message saying  This is IRS calling to inform you that IRS is taking legal action against you for tax fraud, call 1-844-406-6932 to resolve this issue repeated call 1-844-406-6932 to resolve this issue.  Thias is ascam IRS does not call sends Us Mail about any issues

I was told I had attempted to commit fraud with the IRS.  This man said let me get your file.  He then said if I did not pay, I would be arrested and handcuffed and taken to jail.  I told him if he were brave enough then come on and that my Pit Bull might have something to say about my leaving.   I could hear other people talking in the background.  We got into a heated discussion and verbal assaults went back and forth to each other.  He hung up.  I called back and then I got a woman who spoke as if she had an Asian accent.  She would not let me talk to the male that had called earlier .  I told them that they should be ashamed scamming people and they were not the least bit believable.   She hung up as well.
