They never leave a name they only say thete is a warrant for me if I don't settle you have any I go about this  caller

Say they are a debt collector - will not connect if you try to call back

This is the number being left in a voicemail to call back.  Original call comes from 800 number.  The person they keep calling is a MINOR.  These calls need to stop!

Left voicemail under 800 number, to call this number. Did so, “to connect, press 0.” Did so, Asian lady answers speaking English but having NO idea what I’m talking about.

Called from 800 number and left message on my cell and stated I need to call due trying to collect debt. You can't understand the company name, it cuts out during the recording on business name.

Let me try to correct that.  Give me a few minutes to update my report,

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

They say that they are a doubt collector.

I received a call from the agency and they wanted me to confirm my birthdate.  I did not confirm it and wanted to know who they were calling for as I did not give information out over the phone she said she didn't either and hung up the phone.

The number that called my cell was 800-560-6169. The recorded message said, "...debt collector, collector please call 844-417-0384." The recording started before my voicemail picked up.

I didn't even get a voice mail, just this number left but call came from 800 number too.

I dont answer numbers i dont know. To many crocks out there. From what I've just read these are some. Well number will be blocked, and they call more i will file complaints as well.

Received a call from 800-560-6169.  Recorded message wanting me to call 844-417-0384.  Something about debt collection. I am not behind on any debts so this has to be a scam.

I think this is a scam that someone sold info from when I had rental property from Aarons furniture back in 2013. Aarons has assured me they do not know these people and that it happens to a lot of customers.

You need to check the minors credit report and make sure no one is using their credit fraudulently.
