I received the same text from 844-421-1229 saying my Costco shipment is on the way but I didn't order anything. I'm not a member. Scam!

Same as most, "Costco" telling me my shipment is on the way.  I DID NOT order anything or provide my cell number to Costco for any reason.  Blocked number, deleted message. Did not click the link they provided.  Scammers.

DO NOT FOLLOW THE TEXT LINK. Got this text today. I don't have a Costco Card/Account. Went to UPS site and put in the tracking # , it shows a package in transit.

I recvd a text stating my Costco order has shipped, with a link, showing the tracking info. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK.

Got a text message this morning "Today's the day! Your Costco shipment is out for delivery with FEDEX"..... and then gives a link to click on. I did not order anything. SCAMMERS

I received the same message.  844-421-1229

I occasionally get this text. Thought someone fat-fingered my phone number, but it just seems to be garden (lake?) variety phishing.
