Calls from US toll-free 8xx numbers should show up on your caller ID as 1-8xx-... (1 is the US country code). '84' is the country code for Vietnam, so if the number is displayed as '844...' without a preceding '1', then it makes sense that the call is identified as coming from Vietnam.

That's something my father had the very same type of phone call except it was Amazon trying to say he owed money for an iPhone and it was just last week thanks for your post

Sketchy questions about a cox account I don't manage anymore.

I called back and the answered as hello thank you for calling Cox....not Cox communications or Cox sales division

Robocall female voice advising that my Amazon account was being charged $1,093 for Apple something I purchased.  I did not make any such Amazon purchase.  Suspect scam.

I always fall from a third party line . Id they call me from that number î go ok and look up their actual customer service on their site and confirm it with them

Cox is impossible to talk with, their idiotic online tool is ridiculous and worthless.

Call from this number robocall identifying as Cox.   Advising to call back. I haven’t had Cox in over 10 years. I think this is scam.
