I also just got a call from T. Lewis. Same BS.  Called from a local number and wants me to call back at the 844 number.  Sketchy.

That would require reading comprehension, something the majority of the people who come here seem to lack. That, or laziness

I just called the number back and they were looking for my step-father. It IS a collection company, When the woman on the other end I had asked who they are looking for at my phone number and they gave me the name of my step-father (who I have no doubt has many unpaid debts). I told her I can give her his phone number but she said she already has it and he is not returning any calls. I told her I have not spoken to him in over 10 years and she said she would remove my phone number from his account.

My husband received the same call from Teresa Lewis. Somehow she get information of our rental property in FL and stating that there is a debt we owed OUC ( electrical company) and they represent are collection agency that help OUC collect the debt. She said if we pay the debt before it goes to court, its $520 but if we ignore it they will have an attorney take us to court.  Unfortunately, my husband thought its real, so when they ask for his last 4 digit of his SSI, he gave it to them. My husband said they have the first 5 digit already. I took over his call and I did spoke to Teresa Lewis, I told her I will pay the $520 if this is the real debt I owed, but I have to do some research on my own she said she will let me have a few days to think it all over.  I felt suspicious after I found out the 844 call was originally from a local 408 phone No. This person hacked into my computer and pull out some information from my husband computer and make those call. It seems real because they have my renter property address and the tenant who had a rental issue moved out in 2010.
I submit a request to OUC yesterday to find out if those debt exist, OUC replied today that the account is zero.
Its a scam and thanks for BigA advice, I will file a compliant with the US Attorney's office. In the meantime, my husband changed his computer password and put all important information in his external hard drive. The hacker came from Hayward , California.

Please immediately contact 844-548-0900, again the number is 844-548-0900, to update your address or contact information. If you had kept on reading you would have had your answer.  That's the problem today, no one takes the time to read and learn.

Got a call from  Theresa Lewis who left a very demanding message wanting to "update my address" and THREATENING to turn me over to my HR department if I didn't comply. I'm retired so she obviously doesn't have correct information. Others have reported her as a scam. I would say the same.

Wonder what your (non-existent) HR department is supposed to do once Ms. Lewis turns you over to them. Scold you? Silly scammers.

    Business number
Voicemail from "Jasmine Roberts." She called my business line from the number 206-751-1143. She said she was with "Doc Service Dispatch"; something about "temp hold on file, need my participation," etc. "Jasmine" instructed me to call back 844-548-0900. Reading through reviews below this appears to be a scam.

Received a voicemail from "CBI" with a local number 409-853-3634. There is no "CBI" listed locally.  Voicemail verbatim: "Hello this is 'Jasmine Roberts'  from a 'Document Service Dispatch' calling with a formal notice regarding legal documents that were placed on a temporary hold. There is now notice of non-compliance attached to the file. Please contact the issuing agents office before end of business day today to avoid possibility of proceeding without your participation. The phone number is 844-548-0900."  Sounds very official, but alas, it's just a low-life scumbag scammer. PEOPLE LIKE THIS ARE WHY I NEVER ANSWER MY PHONE.

Received call from 415-653-3863. They left message saying they were "Jasmine Roberts" and she was with "Doc Service Dispatch" and there was a "temporary hold" on my court case and that there was now a "non compliance" attached to the file. To contact them today or they will proceed without my participation. She never gave my name or case number.

I called back because there is a case currently going on with my dead-beat ex that owes me child support and I know he has a court date coming up for non-payment in over 15 months. I was told by my Child Support case worker that I did not need to attend or submit anything. I was suspicious and blocked my number. Rang numerous times and got voicemail asking me to leave my contact information. Needless to say I hung up because I know that this is not how courts work.
