I got a call from this number telling me that i had judgements against me and someone would be delivering court documents to me. They also said that i could settle with them minus interest. I told them i would wait for documents, well they never came today. I researched the phone number and the location is from a place in India…. SCAM…..

I received a call from a restricted number posing as a legal carrier who gave me this number to call as well as a claim number to a case. I called the number and spoke to a man named Daniel Marcel who said he works for Pierson and Roth law firm out of NY. He then said I was being sued over a credit card debt dated back to 2001 and that I could settle out of court a given dollar amount. When I replied that I was taking it to an attorney he promptly hung up the phone.

I just received a call from an Alex Smith- stating he had a summons to deliver to me and I should call this 844-594-6062 with a case number back. He then called right back from 716-748-8698 and left the same message.

Just received a call from a blocked number. Caller Identified himself as being from "Division A Courier", stating he was scheduled to deliver court docs on Monday. Gave a call back number of (844) 594-6062 and claim number. Did some research and Division A Courier doesn't exist. Not sure what the purpose or goal of the scam is, but definitely sketchy.

My call came from a private number and the guy said he had a summons.  Checked into it with a relative in the court system who pointed out a couple of logical things:  numbers related to courts are public record and will turn up instead of this when I do the search.  Also, 'summons' is used for juries.  Subpoena or warrant are more realistic but still deserve checking into.  Don't fall for scams!

Got a call from this number today with the same bit as the others earlier have reported. They left a message saying they were delivering papers to me Monday. Could barely make out the phone number as the connection got extremely bad between them and my voicemail at that point.

I just received a call from No Caller Id.  The guy said he was a legal courier and would be delivering court papers to my home.  I said ok and then he gave me this number 844-594-6062 to call and get info as to what the summons was about. "When I called the number a man answered and identified himself as James Tony. Said he worked for the law offices of Pearson and Ross.  Told me how much money it would cost me to go to court and offered a settlement from the client. I decided to put the number in to see if I could get any information. I am glad I did. It is so easy to get manipulated.

I got a call today from  a private number and they said I owed a debt and they were going to serve me tomorrow.  The call back number was 1 844 594-6062 they called my cell phone my home phone my husbands my sons in another state.  They called about 10 times in the meantime I looked it up on the internet and found out it was a scam.  They gave me a claim number etc.  It was really scary and I feel violated in my own home.

yes I just got a phone call that same as everyone else from A carrier saying that me at a summons for me to appear in court and gave me this number 844 594-6062 any case number looked it up on the internet and I understand it to the scams I want to report whoever this is calling

I got call from an anonymous caller id stating he was a carrier from a law firm ythat had a summon to deliver on monday at my home or workplace and provided a number to call and a claim number the number was 844 594 6062. Person name danny said he was the paralegal for the lawfirm of ross assoctes he refuse to provide any information about my file because he didnt have my file in front of him. And he wanted a phone number to call back (I blo c ked my caller id before making the call) because he stated that he could not disclose information because he was not sure that I was the person on file and he didnot want to break the disclosure law I ask to talk to attorney of his firm because he was not helpful and he said no I ask for another agent and I was put on hold for over 10 minutes.....what a dirty scam

Just a quick follow up. They never came here and I've not heard from them again. Apparently this is a scam attempt.

I received a phone call from this number informing that I owed a debt on a credit card and would be receiving legal documents. They wanted me to settle the debt with them,  I informed them that I was going to check with my bank and would get back with them but after Google search this number I found out it was a scam so I will wait for the documents.

Got the same call. Left msg that this was considered being served. That's not legal! I work for a law office! I knew it was crap! I certainly didn't call them back. I looked up # and saw this! Scam!!!!

Received the exact same scenario as everyone else. I called and talked to them. They guy that answered said for me to hold on a minute because the computer didn't have all the info on my case and he had to go downstairs to the attorneys office and get the hard copy. He came back a few minutes later and said they were trying to collect on a debt that was charged off in 2001 from Visa Card Services.  He told me my fee was 2888.36 (but he would get a reduced cost without the fees that I could make payment arrangements on) and that I could settle and stop the "summons" from being delivered.  He knew a lot of my info including my social but he didn't verify who he was talking to. He VOLUNTEERED all the info.  Most places require you to verify your social with THEM...not them just saying is this number right.  Seemed a little weird at the time but it did scare me a little.  Glad I googled it.  It is tax return season and they are taking full advantage!

Received the same call from a person saying that her name was Rebecca Wright and that she would be delivering papers to my mom on 02/05/15! She stated that my mom needed to have a valid form of ID ready when she delivers the papers. I called the number that she left 844-594-6062 and got the same results as everyone above. This is definitely a scam and I feel for all of the unsuspecting people that this scam will work on! :-(

I also got a call from this number. I called back and they said it was a credit card debt. They called all 4 of my cell phones, which I gave to family members .Said the same thing about court papers. I actually talked to someone at that number and all they did was try to double talk me. Needless to say, my response to them was not very nice. I asked him to not try to speak over me, called him a name (not something I would normally do) and said my attorney and Boa would settle it. I have no debt so I know this is a scam. Please people be careful. I am older so they think they can intimidate people.

They called my dad to get ahold of me. Gave the same number for me to call.  When I did he said he was from Pearson Ross & Associates. Same thing, past debt etc. Scared me to death till someone suggested to Google the number. Found this.  Thank you for the info. What can be done to catch these lowdown dirty cheats?

I just got a call from an unknown number same as the rest above. I was told to call 8445946062 and it was Pearson Ross and Associates. I entered the number on google and found this. They said they would deliver a summons for a court date to my address. I guess I will wait to find out what It is.
