- CWG40 replies to candyJamaican debt scammer. We got your goat. You nothing but a foo-foo. Are you aware that there is a US task force in Jamaica hunting down scammers?
- CWG40 replies to SaraCall blocker might be of some help. Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd. Or where there is no caller ID. There’s no way to stop the calls from being initiated. Originates either in Jamaica or the Island of Nevis.
- lissa replies to candyliar. they have to give the name of the company and there is no company by the names.
- Kevin hookAsking for a person who is not me...told them wrong number but keep calling...a* holes

- BretThese people have been calling me and my entire family non-stop about a supposed $300 payday loan I supposedly took out in 2012 claiming that there's a court case in progress. I couldn't get a payday loan if I wanted to since I'm self employed. It's a scam to get ahold of your bank statement (account number) when you try to prove you never got the loan. Dead giveaway is that they refuse to send any paperwork until you send your bank statement in. From 844-605-0274 and a bunch of other numbers but always with the same case number.
Stay away from these scumbags and report them!!!- Caller: 844-605-0274

- Kim replies to sammiGot a call from the same number and same claim, when we ask what payday loan was it, the rep said False Enterprise. Lol. What a low life scumbags.
- J replies to sammiThe name that was given to me was Atlantic Group as an arbitrary group. They claim that they they are working for JD Marketing a company that according to the better business bureau is no longer in business. DO NOT VERIFY ANY INFORMATION! The company is a FAKE
- tucker2010 replies to candyBull...they called me today. I asked so many questions and the poor guy who answered was getting pissed. I asked his name, where he's was, what was the name of the company he was calling for and then he says there is a arrest warrant out for me. I told him to send the cops, cause I had nothing planned as I was sick. Still no cops and when I told him to call my attorney, he hung up. It's a scam.
P.S. Still waiting for the cops.....I hope jail has Netflix! - Tam| 3 repliesI thought this number was an alternate to Atlantic Group - now I'm wondering. They called on my cell phone, didn't answer and blocked the number (have 2 other Atlantic Group numbers blocked as well). I'm hoping I haven't managed to get on another scammers list! fwiw... when the calls from Atlantic Group started, I put a fraud alter on my credit report. Tried to do something online and couldn't - Fraud Alerts help!

- Maggy replies to SaraI did the same thing and they still call....
- Maggy replies to Tam| 2 repliesHow do you put a fraud alter on credit report? They call my work and cell phone (blocked it from cell phone) Ask for my former name and state it is a bill from 2013 in which at that time I had married and my name changed. I do not nor ever had a loan they say I took out and didn't pay. If there is a lawsuit pending with me as the defendant I would know.... since I work for the courts.
- Maggy replies to fredwell I didn't take a loan out... explain that one.
- Maggy replies to candy| 1 replyI don't believe it was this so called company that repossessed your car... I told them a couple months ago to serve me with papers after they could not tell me what court they were suing me in, nor a case number, etc.... Also wanted to give them my lawyers name and number and they would not take it, said see you in court and I said YEP YOU WILL. that was a few months ago. I have received nothing in writing and have checked the courts (including US District Court) and nothing......I did not take a loan out so how could this company be real, Candy?
- Carol replies to Maggyi just got a call from this number and they said that i took out a loan for 500.00 for JP Morgan and now i owe 1,000.00 and wouldn't tell me when the hearing was only that i owe that and it was to b in maryland. but the loan was taken out in CA online and that they got my info from my IP address and my social. and called me by my married name. i told the lady that i have been divorced since 09 and no longer go by that name. but i traced one number they called me from was a cell phone number in greensboro, NC but was representing someone in CA. it is a big time scam cause they would know when the hearing was also. i also know that JP Morgan just received 5mil dollar donation for their automotive line, i would never get approved thru that company for a loan no matter the amount. they wanted money upfront over the phone. said that i would b arrested if i didnt show up to court in MARYLAND i live in NC. they would know all the info of the case and a lawyer here would not represent someone in CA they would get a better lawyer out there. and the court hearing would b in CA not in MD. and back in June the same people tried to do the same to my parents. i never took out a loan from that company i would remember i was working Full time and my BF at the time was in the military we had no need for a loan. just hate i have to change my number due to these scammers that can't take the hint that i am on to them.
- BigA replies to MaggyIt is fraud alert, and you go on line find the 3 major credit bureaus, Trans Union, Equifax, and Experian, and tell them to put a fraud alert on your file, The instructions should be on the web site.
- PJGot a call from someone from this # I couldn't understand here name even though i asked them to repeat it several times. They got annoyed when i asked them for documentation supporting this alleged loan i owe. They told me that they are working for a client SGQ and they were only given information that i defaulted on a $300 online payday loan. I asked why I have not gotten any information on the loan and was told it was sent to me. When i asked what address i was given an address that i lived at back in 1996. The more questions I asked the more annoyed the person got until they finally hung up but not before saying see you in court.

- JackieKeeps calling does not leave message
- Tam replies to MaggyI googled Experian fraud alert (I believe) It took me to a page where I could fill out to submit a fraud alert. Online it told me it didn't go through, that I would have to send in all this documentation but when I tried to open up a new checking account online (closed the one the fraudsters have) they asked if I had a fraud alert on my file, said yes, and was told I could only open the account in person. The one credit bureau notifies the other 2 - good for 90 days. To get a more permanent one you need a police report.
