This is 100% a scam, they are acting as a collection agency. The name provided is close to that of a legitimate collection agency.  They have tried to contact me and tell me that I owe money to Rogers  and never been more then 2 days late with my bill. Also tried calling saying they were from money mart and the only dealings with money mart I had was as an employee. Besides most companies have their own internal collection that will always contact you first before your debt is sold to a collection agency. I highly suggest if you believe that you may actually owe these companies , hang up and call them directly or get your hands on your credit report.

They've been constantly calling me in the last 6 months without leaving a voicemail, often after 9pm local time. Looks like the right way to fight with them is to use the online Resolution Center (Consumer Protection BC's Online Dispute Resolution tool) as they're licensed in BC by Consumer Protection BC. This supposedly will force them to answer you and behave professionally, or they could face some penalty once the licensing authority is involved.

They call but don't leave messages. Called back a few times and mech voice was happy about doing it..??! I look here now. I don't answer unknown #'s  or #'s  I don't know. Going on 2nd year now with these calls from CVB. Have blocked over 40 numbers they use. They buy up old debts from telus, fido, anyone. Relentless doesn't cover these callers...just ignore.

These people.CBV collections call.me about 5 times a day from 7am till 10pm! So far I have blocked 15 numbers they call from! Apparently they are chasing someone for a $60 outstanding Rogers balance from 2014! Funny how I'm Scottish and only moved here in 2015 and habe never been with Rogers! How do I get them to stop? It's total harassment!

This number calls me like 5 times a day. No voice message or any indication of who this company is. Blocked this # and then the next day I'm pretty sure the same so-called company started to call me from another #. I've answered and all I got was dead air. Scammers indeed I bet.

Face the music and pay off your student loans , old cell phones etc ....and get back into a better credit score lol

ps - Lots of "Legal" companies do sleezy and even illegal things.  But being a Shill, you might want to forget that detail.

CBV runs call centers in India.  They are in the business of harassment and break the law with impunity.  Beware of these liars and crooks.  And mostly beware of their shills.

They have been calling for years using  different numbers. It starts by someone in Philippine, if you answer and get put on hold they transfer you to a money mart in BC, they threaten you for your birth date or they threaten to keep calling until you do! And they keep calling.

CBV collections on behalf of Telus.  Gives Telus a horrible name, and they won't straighten it out, why would I?  I will just pay them the $1500 next time they call.  Yeah, yeah.  A..oles..
