    Worried and Concerned
Called and implied they were from LaSalle County, Illinois. That they received “complaints” against my brother who I am estranged from.  I’m rethinking that these peeps are debt collectors and my brother put my name down as his next of kin

    HATE SCAMMERS
These people called my phone number looking for my son (did not tell them he was my son) and asked if I knew said son. I replied I did and they asked how they could reach him. I told them it wasn't my place to divulge that information. If it were pressing or legitimate, they would identity themselves or give me more information. Scam

This number called me telling me I owed money to Citi Life Credit Card from 2010. They claimed they had my signature. This company or any accounts with this company has never been in my home files or my credit history. I am pretty sure if you don't pay credit cards it shows in your credit report. This company has some sort of scam and I told them they need to take it to a judge. I am currently communicating with my local sheriffs department on who to contact to report this company.

Called for my sister.  Lisa Adams left a message stating that it was intended solely for her yet she left her message with someone other than the intended recipient.  I called back asking how they got my number.  I was simply told that it was listed as a "possible contact".  When I questioned them leaving messages with someone other than the intended party I was interrupted with, "Look, I ain't leaving no voicemails with no one..."  I stopped him saying that I was still talking and he hung up on me.  I called back I spoke with Peter Fratello who removed my number and claimed he would look into my other complaint.

    Had me nervous at first
Call and left a message saying her name was Lisa Adams and I had a court date on 3/9/18. First off she starts off by saying “ this message is solely for ..........” ok all debt collectors or telemarketing scams start off their messages like that. Then I searched the number and found this forum going and a person yesterday had the exact same lady and told the same lie about a court date that just happened to be the same date she said in the voicemail. Wow just wow! I’m glad I did my research before I freaked out.

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

Everything else you need to know follows including at least two agencies where you should report their criminal activities.

Website says they are in western New York State, world’s #1 capital for criminal enterprises pretending to be debt collectors:  http://unitedaccountsolutions.com/
Website was put up in January of 2018.

They are not registered with the New York Dept. of State which means they are operating illegally.

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

I received the same voice message which mentioned this was a "legal claim" and "state mandate".  They are making their rounds to individuals in the state of Florida.  The caller id was 844-352-7613 and when I called back I immediately got a prompt for "United Account Solutions".  This is definitely a scam.  If anyone has a legal claim or judgment against them, YOU MUST GET THIS IN WRITING, and not from a cryptic voice message.

    Please Beware!!
