Got the exact same voice mail this morning. Directed me to call this number. I tried to reverse directory it. But the area code doesn't match the prefix. Come on,'David Smith'? What's wrong? Can't think of a more believable name? Or 'Court Mediation Services', REALLY? Scum bag.

this also happened to me today, same david smith, same line about a payday loan, saying ill get a nitification in the mail about going to court, i said right, they had alot of info on me which i had said was true, i am  about  ready to close out my checking account now..i though i was smart,,gerrrrrr

Same as all the previous comments had them call both my home phone and my cell phone on the same day.

I just got the exact same message, why do they waste their time! I have blocked these numbers but now they use an "unknown" number and keep calling

Got the exact call as mentioned above by everyone else. I've "officially been notified" I wish they'd just stop.  I hope whoever takes these scammers on is able to get as much help as possible.

Same story as everyone else. Except they called me thinking I was my sister. Called from "County Mediation", said I have been notified, yadda yadda yadda, Case# CR221615. I actually did call them back and asked how they got my number if it was my sister they were looking for and she told me to speak to my sister. My sister called, knowing it was a scam because unlike me, she did her research before calling, and was told that she owed over $3k for a loan back in 2013. They tried to confirm her previous address which was wrong, and let her know that they tried emailing her back in January regarding this issue. They said they would send a Sheriff to her job to serve her unless she wanted to settle out of court for half the amount. My sister asked if she was being recorded and they said yes and she asked 'aren't you supposed to let me know at the start of the call that I'm being recorded?' and the woman began to get rude. My sister asked who the plaintiff is and was told she would find out when she goes to court and would have to pay the debt in full if that happens. The woman asked my sister if she had an attorney, my sister said yes, and the woman wanted to know the attorney's name (no debt collector would ask that).  My sister didn't answer the question and said she would call the front desk at the court house to let them know her and her attorney were coming to address the summons and this claim in person if they could tell her what county court house to go to and the woman hung up on her.

Like previous scare scams!  Claimed I was a "defendant" in a pending "court case". Stern voice claiming to be "Head Arbitrator David Smith", representing "County Mediation Services" telling me I had received "Official Notification".  Notification of what was not stated

Received a message from arbiter David Smith regarding me being a defendant in a case where I owe 3000. Dollars. I call the number given and a woman answered . She told me that I had to pay and a letter was sent out to me in January 2017. When I refuted  her claimed she got indignant to say the least. So my alarm  went off so I kept asking her who is this alleged plaintiff and she could not answer. Needless to say the she said the county sheriff dept will serve me a summons. I asked her more questions and she got real nasty and said have a good then hung the phone up. I called back and got a recoding no one is here to take your call. Little did she know I work in the law enforcement profession. So I called a friend of mine in the profession and he verified what I already knew that this is a scam.

call my cell and my sister in law with this bull,, please stop these so called people. Makes no since at all for all this crap calling your phone and upsetting you.

No one here can stop them but you can. Invest in a call blocker and don't answer calls from unknown phone numbers when st all possible.

Got a blocked call from the same David Smith from “county mediation” and left a voicemail looking for my brother about a pending court case that he needed to get in contact with them. Of course right from the get go I knew it was a scam cuz no legit business will officially notify the wrong person through a voicemail about something as serious as a court case! So I called and told them they had the wrong number and the scammer got belligerent and ignorant and said some very nasty and vile things once I also got belligerent with her and she hung up on me. So I call back again and once again encountered another chick that told me to do something a males genitalia and die and hung up on me. So I call a third time and I can hear the girls trying to get on the phone to talk nonsense to me cuz they knew it was me so I let them know I was filing a police report and of course got hung up on. It makes me sick thinking of all the innocent people that have been scammed by these disgusting criminals.

Received a voicemail from David Smith (How generic a name is that) asking for an EX-brother in law (I was divorced 20 years ago). Stated the ex-brother in law needed to call back and they started to state a court case but the call disconnected before fully being read. HOW THE H_LL ARE THEY GETTING MY TELEPHONE NUMBER WHEN I HAVE NOT HAD CONTACT WITH THIS PERSON IN 20 YEARS!?!

Hey just wanted to thank you for posting all those bogus #'s against this so called 'company'. Just retrieved an old message from them referencing my daughter's name ... the name is spoken by a recorded voice not the same as the person claiming to be from kaunty or wherever they are.  anyway, this has got to stop. endless complaints to the FCC, FTC, Verizon - no one cares... how about Senator Codey from NJ -he started a petition when's that going thru?!

I got the same call today. David Smith blah blah blah....its so aggravating. Left a message and stated that I Have notified.

I had the same call only they called my place of business and left a message.  It said that my father was "officially notified" I called them back to see what it was about since my father recently had open heart surgery. They advised that they would notify the attorney handling the case.  I asked them to give me the information they refused. I knew it was a stupid scam.

I kept calling them back then hanging up when someone answered.  Their "receptionist" got really annoyed.  Then I yelled, "how do you like it?!?!". I then texted them that if they didn't stop calling me, I was going to call them hundreds of times a day.
