I'm really sick of receiving this bogus call. I've been receiving them since last year both on my landline and cell phone! I also called my insurance company and I know for a fact it's not a call from them. No matter how many times I've blocked their numbers, they manage to call and leave the same recommend message! Annoying!!!

Then your insurance company does not know what they are doing. They could be fined for that. MTM (medication therapy management) is mandated by CMS, that it be provided to patients that qualify for it each year. Go to https://www.cms.gov and search MTM. It's all right there.

Exactly what I did. Gave my name, then they asked for my address. They said I needed to tell them my address to verify. I hung up.

520-382-6554 called and wants to go over my medication and says they are from my insurance company.  My insurance company knows NOTHING about these people.  The callback number from 1 message they left was   844-866-3735.

This number is the callback number for SinfoniaRx, a Medication Therapy Management company. This company is contracted with different health insurance plans to complete comprehensive medication reviews. Because they deal with personal health information, they must comply with HIPPA regulations. This means they must ask for two identifying factors (DOB/address) before discussing information with anyone.

for confirming that this is a scam and that you are part of it. No reason for you to have looked the number up if this really was as legitimate as you claim it is.

They wanted to confirm my mom’s medications which they had the list of but asked for her name, address and DOB, unfortunately we gave it to them. They said it was a contracted company with our ins. Called our ins. Co. afterwards & they don’t know them at all. May be because it’s open medical enrollment time? Or a scam

As noted  on other comments,  multiple calls daily. Have block number. Spoke with insurance company rep. She could not find direct connection with the insurance carrier.  You do not have to agree to talk with  them. May not be a scam, but close enough, they do not your contact information and do not like the word NO.

If they are calling in regards of carrier,  they should be able to give the information they are asking you and all you need to do is confirm the information.

Might be valid, but they've called 34 times (I have the number blocked), but even with number blocking it still goes to my voicemail.  What, my friends are calling and my voicemail is full??  Finally called them back today and you have to give enough info (name, BD, and address) to stop the calls.  That's good news, but the bad news is that you have to STOP the calls every year.  I did now for the year 2020, but will have to do it again in 2021.  Sigh

Its a Medicare Benefit Review - medication review.  Only way to stop them from calling is to give them enough info to identify the individual, then you can stop the calls, but only for the year.
