Same message said they had wrong number.

Same message today, from kent, ohio

It's not a scam call.  It is a robot dialer for an agency that collects debts and serves legal documents on behalf of other entities.  The people they look for a the kind of people who give random numbers as contact numbers/alternative contact numbers.  They were looking for a Sandra _________ when they called me.  If you repeatedly get the calls, just call them back and if you are not who they are looking for they will remove your phone number.

First of all, no legitimate process server calls before they come.
Secondly, I question why you are telling people to call back criminals, unless you are part of the scam.
Since you already know to whom, this number belongs, then you can easily post their name, and perhaps their legally verifiable address.

Rec'd thd same message today as those listed above.  Caller ID showed 203-278-5178 in Derby CT.  Call back # of 844-867-1392

I got the same message. I also called back. They use a caller-id to look up your info when u call. They said they were from USACash (cash advance place) and wanted a settlement. I told them I never heard of them and ask what state it was in and she didn't know even though she said they had a copy of the contract and my info on file. Weird.

Caller ID shows name of caller as "Big Bend, WI" phone number shows "262-706-9046" They called last night and left a message of "hello, hello" and that was it. Today they called and left the same as everyone else got. " You were not available today and this call is in regards to a complaint. Please call immediately 844-867-1392 again that is 844-867-1392, GOOD BYE!" very forcefully and then the phone sounded as it was slammed down at their end.

Message was left as noted by others. Call came from a local number 1 503 207 2071 from Sodexo

Someone left a voice mail early this morning exactly the same as the others reported on this website.  They left the same phone number.  It was a woman's voice claiming there was a "complaint" against me and I should call the number immediately.  I am on the Do Not Call List but apparently that doesn't make a difference to morons.  Of course I am not going to call them back.  But I worry about people who might be intimidated such as elderly people or those who are not native English speakers.  These people need to go to jail.  What a waste of space.  I am thoroughly disgusted.

Fact: The Do Not Call list is NOT a call blocker!
The DNC list is a LIST, subscribed to / purchased by legitimate telemarketers, so they know who not to call. The FCC does not give away the list!

Fact: Telephone numbers on the Registry don’t expire.  You do NOT have to re-register annually.

Fact: Scammers and spammers ignore the DNC list.
Many use "war dialers" to quickly dial phone numbers.  After all, phone numbers are just numbers, and are no secret!  (Arabic numbers were invented about 500 AD, so even stupid scammers know about them by now).

Fact: The DNC list does not apply to NON-sales calls, such as political calls, charities, surveys, debt collectors and businesses with which you have done business with during the previous 18 months.

Fact:  Spam callers can be blocked by getting a real call blocker.
 Google (or your favorite search engine) is your friend.

Same as above BUT the number that registered on caller ID was 20-430-3782 but told it was about an complaint and to call 844-867-1392 immediately  didn't call back blocked the number

Another Hack sick of these phone calls with local number than leave another number. I am on a no call list! I don't think it is a debt collector, because we don't owe anyone. Just another scam I called the local number but did not leave my number.

Call in regards to a complaint.???  But shows up 909-626-1111 on my cell phone.  Heard the voicemail and it says to call 844-867-1392

12/2  Just received  "You were not available today and this call is in regards to a complaint. Please call immediately 844-867-1392...once again 844-867-1392.  Good-bye."   Caller id number was 850-238-3673.   I did not call.
