This was a legitimate call and left a message asking me to call about a test ordered by my physician.

Legitimate company, Exact Sciences Laboratory, calling about a medical test ordered by my doctor.  However, they were very persistent with robocalling and failed to  comply with my request that they stop calling me.  Blacklist them and just deal with your doctor to get the info you need about the test.

And while it may be legit for you, scammers are probably spoofing this number for their scams

... what makes you say that?   Unlike so many other numbers on this site, this particular number has zero reports of any scammer activity.

Mr. Colon reports "...they were very persistent with robocalling and failed to  comply with my request that they stop calling me."  That is scammer-like behavior, wouldn't you agree?   TRS has a pretty keen sense of what scammers talk and act like, and along with how common spoofed numbers are, I think some suspicion makes sense.  We will have to see if other posts are made.

Scammers like to spoof numbers that people automatically associate with "Trust", and spoofed numbers/names in a caller ID for a medical lab does occur.  These days, it makes sense to trust, but verify.

Because I've seen it on other numbers, and it sands to reason that it could happen here. Plus, we look at such posts as suspicious as we have has scammers post that a number was legit when it wasn't

This number is a scam...they said they were the IRS AND DEMANDED I PAY THEM OR I WOULD GO TO JAIL.... I told them I did not receive letter from IRS... They said they tried but it was returned which isn't lie because I asked for the address they sent it to and they did not give me a correct address... Please be aware. I am on the line right now with IRS to report this...

just Got Another  Call  About  A Test With Coloaguard  Said My DR. Ordered It This Has Been Going On From January I even Got The Stuff To Do It With  Now I Had no Ideal What It Was  I had Already Taken A Test At My Dr.'s Office So I called Him  Guess What  He  Didn't Order It  So I Called The Com. Exact Sincence Lab. And Told Them Then Today They Called Again  Called Himself Hecter  Win I Told I Had Called 2 mo ago He Hug Up  Now nTo me They Are Scammers

Had a message from Exactscilab saying there was a discrepancy in my Colo-guard test and they needed me to call back before they could proceed with the test.  I got a foreign speaking man, whom I could barely understand who kept insisting I had a $100 Wal-Mart card and he had to finish "this process" first before talking with anyone about this discrepancy.   I kept insisting I wasn't interested in a Wal-Mart card - I wanted to find out about this discrepancy.  He wouldn't put me through to anyone else, but kept asking me address information, etc.  I told him I felt this was an attempt for a scam and I wasn't talking to him anymore.  I'd call my doctor's office to get any information on the test.

Have received multiple calls that identify as Exact Sciences Laboratories. I have blocked the number. Still I get calls. Today UPS delivered a 3 lb. white square box from ESL. I never ordered it, my doc wouldn't have either. It said ; 3rd party billed. I'm not opening it. And yes, the multi calls sounded scamish.

An add on to my first comment. I called the 844/870/8870 # someone answered, no hello, heard screams and high pitched laughter in background. I kept saying hello, heard my own voice echo a few seconds later. I called 3 times. No person speaking, just my echos of hello and who is this. SCAM

I just had a call from this # that had background noise that sounded like a child. They asked for me then started asking me my information. I told them I won't be answering that over the phone. They immediately hung up.

Ordered and paid for a test kit, Turns out I have stage two: cancer these people keep calling me every couple months and not leaving any name or reason  I told them several times to stop calling but they still keep calling!

Have also been getting calls from this lab, daily.  Sometimes twice a day.
My doctor did not order testing, so fair warning to others...CALL your doctors office before answering this call.

Repeated calls from the number. Qppears on caller Id as Exqct Sciences.. Scam, assuredly.

If this is the case, why no message?

Did not answer,  seemed fishy.  No message, no contact information.   Not sure why they called.
