Telemarketer, suspected spam: 844-874-3955

I received a call from this number and after googling the number it comes up with scam. So I called the number back and a man answered "CRA" he said. I said what does CRA stand for? He hung up.

Got a call this morning from this number to call back immediately.  Stated they were from CRA, Crime Investigation Unit.  I asked what he was calling for, he asked if i was a business.  He would not disclose information.  As soon as he found out I was a business calling he hung up.  I called back three times.  Asked for his name and badge number.  John Megan (or Morgan) Agent # 201294.  I asked why he was calling and hung up on me again.  I called back 3 times, and he kept hanging up on me.   it's definitely a SCAM.   I will report this to the CRA.   No need to call this rude individual back.

My colleague called back....they answer the phone as CRA...she said to the woman that they'd be reported to our REAL CRA in Canada, the woman on the other end laughed and said "[***] you"  and hung up.  This number is being reported to CRA.  Scammers!

I got a voicemail from an "Officer Dwight Williams" saying that I or my attorney needed to call back right away. This was clearly a scam, but I called back for fun and to give them a piece of my mind. When you call back they say they are from the criminal investigations unit of the CRA. I told them I am a lawyer with the Securities Commission (which is true) and that what they are doing is clear a fraudulent scam. The guy on the other end said, laughingly, "hey hey hey, watch your language" and then hung up. They then refused to answer any more calls from me. :-)

They called me twice today (so far....) with 2 different numbers: this one and 844-658-5865

I also received 2 calls today - from the same numbers. I never answer 1-8xx calls. If it's important they can leave a message. Annoying as hell.

I was called by that number

They told me I have a warrant for my arrest by RCMP and I'm going to be arrested then we going to give me a lawyer's phone number so I can appear in court for my taxes for last year once I start asking them so many questions they hung up on me it's a fraud

They called me left a message saying it's tax cops obviously not real.

Called twice. I was told  they were the CRA. RCMP were coming to arrest me. Need to call them back right away. Not calling them back. Another site says the person answering the call is being charged. I guess this is the scam. They make their money by having you answer.

No, they make their money if you fall for their scam. Not sure how the person answering the call would be charged.

I also had a call from them today. They leave little to no information other than a name and call back number. If this were real the CRA would make every effort to get hold of you with out uttering threats.

A call came through leaving a message stating it was Officer Greg Williams and to not delete the message to call back immediately "you or your attorney and good luck to you if you don't reply today".

Do not talk to these people they are not from CRA and they are trying to still your identity
