So many missed calls from this number. Good to hear it’s not important.

When you receive telephone solicitation calls, clearly state that you want your phone number added to the caller’s do-not-call list. You may want to keep a list of those businesses with whom you have made this request.  I followed these instructions and submitted my request to be added to US Standard Products.

I will of course update this feed with any updates.

I have received numerous calls from US Standard Products.  I have told them I am not interested at the moment but will download their catalog to see what they have to offer.

US Standard Products has left me many messages and I finally spoke to someone yesterday.  I will download their catalog to see what they have to offer.

These guys are US Standard. They're based in Englewood New Jersey. They call me all the time but I never answer.

When I answer the phone, the guy says it's Rob from US Standard. He's called me a number of times talking to me about cleaning products and safety gear or something. I don't even work with cleaning products or safety gear. I told him that and he asked for my supervisor then I hung up.

Guys, this US Standard company, I asked them to take me off their list and they totally did it. If you don't want them to call you, ask too.

I had calls from this number a lot and answered one time. They said they were calling from a company called US Standard. Never heard of them. Apparently they're in Englewood, New Jersey.

It's US Standard out of Englewood New Jersey trying to sell you cleaners or some [***] like that. I don't know. I only talked to them once and told them not to call back.

Just back from the new year and the first call I get is from this number. They jumped right into asking me about how much cleaner I would need for all of 2015. Said he would give me their special discount and on and on.........I absolutely could not think about this yet just getting back from the vacation. I have found that the best thing to do when these telemarketers call is to just say no thanks and Ill contact them if I need their product.

You got that offer too? Was it John that you spoke with too? They called and said that their Anglewood, NJ office had the special 2015 offer to cover your needs for the year or something along those lines. Let us breathe after the long vacation a little before getting into this stuff!

Anybody here ever visit this company's website? Its usstandardproducts.com. They actually look like a big company and have a catalogue that you can download. I dont understand why they cant just mail out their catalogue. Its so much better to get mail than random phone calls.

I dont understand how even after I register with the phone company to be on the do not call list to still get calls like this. How does that work?

From what I found online, the company is US Standard Products and they're calling from Englewood, NJ. Looks like cleaning products and [***]. Not interested.

I found an interesting test on the major penetrating oil available oin the marketplace.  US Standard Products penetrating oil is not listed.  But i think the findings are interesting:

For all of you that are mechanically inclined..... Penetrating Oils Compared A study done by Machinist's Workshop magazine in their April 2007 issue looked at different penetrating oils to see which one did the best job of removing a rusted bolt by measuring the pounds of torque required to loosen the bolt once treated. If the study was scientifically accurate, it turns out a home brew works best! Here's the summary of the test results:

Penetrating oil .......... Average load

None ..................... 516 pounds

WD-40 .................... 238 pounds

PB Blaster ............... 214 pounds

Liquid Wrench ............ 127 pounds

Kano Kroil ............... 106 pounds

ATF-Acetone mix.............53 pounds

The Automatic Transmission fluid (ATF)-Acetone mix was a "home brew" mix of 50 - 50 automatic transmission fluid and acetone. Note the "home brew" was better than any commercial product in this one particular test. A local machinist group mixed up a batch and all now use it with equally good results. Note also that "Liquid Wrench" is about as good as "Kroil" for about 20% of the price.

So this is US Standard Products, then. If I pick up and tell them to  stop calling, will they listen?

These US Standard guys claim to have a miracle potion? Better then stuff that is bought by millions of people? Im not buying that. I have been using WD-40 since I was a teenager and it never lets me down, I think Ill stick to what I know.
