These US Standard guys claim to have a miracle potion? Better then stuff that is bought by millions of people? Im not buying that. I have been using WD-40 since I was a teenager and it never lets me down, I think Ill stick to what I know.

Wd-40 is terrible. Plus it's flammable.

I use Kroll for the hard jobs.  WD-40 for the rest.  I wouldn't want anything home-brewed.  Would worry about a  chemical reaction.  Especially an unwanted one.

It probably is flammable, but I never use it around flame.  Who would?

Interesting, I got a call from this US Standard and they were talking about safety glasses and other safety products - Im not interested in that and just told them not to call me but maybe I wouldve listened if they talked about products like youre talking about.

I looked up their site its usstandardproducts.com. They do have these kinds of products but I have never heard of these guys before and they are just calling me out of nowhere. Dont people send catalogues anymore?‎

Agreed! WD-40 does not work well compared to much better choices on the market for stuff needed around the factory floor. I like PB Blaster personally but to each their own. It works for some stuff at home just fine but I agree, it wouldnt be my first option.

At least this us standard doesnt seem as much like fraud as some of the other calls I get like this. I checked out their site usstandardproducts.com and it is a normal looking website with products being offered. Most of the random calls I get are from companies with no website or a very strange looking one.

These US Standard people called me, same story as others here, said they are in Englewood, NJ and want to offer the best industrial cleaning products on the market or something like that. I said no thanks and dont call again then just hung up the phone.

Us standard products sounds like a familiar company. Does anyone know how long they have been in business? Were they always selling industrial cleaning products and safety products?

Because there's no listing for a US Standard Products with the BBB, nor is there a business entity by that name listed with the Secretary of State for New Jersey...

I got called by 844-877-1700 today and they left me a voicemail about the best offer of the year on new safety goggles. Thanks to you all for the information on these guys, I don't think I will be calling back.

what's most interesting to me about telemarketing companies is the volume of calls they can make. Do they outsource this to Asia or india?

Now I understand who has been calling me at the shop. US Standard Products trying to sell me penetrating oil. Is there a way to block number from calling my direct line at the warehouse?

I haven't ordered from them and do not plan to.

I also got a call from a company called US Standard Products. Talked to them for a few seconds. Seemed nice enough. Just not my department.

These guys called me too. I'm pretty sure they're US Standard in Engelwood NJ. Office supplies and stuff. No thanks.

Not sure why I keep getting calls from this company.  I do not make purchasing decisions for my construction company.
