repeated calls from "Justin" at the Prize Notification center - that we had won a new SUV or $25k -- pretty sure it's a scam

I got the same call from "Justin" with the same come on of a Prize of a new SUV or $25K. Also pretty sure it's a scam. Considering calling back just to find out what the scam is.

I also got the same call - Justin from Prize Notification Center claiming I was selected to win a 2016 SUV or $25,000. I called him back at (844) 880-3403 and Kacie picked up. Get this. She claims that 49,000 people entered this promotion and 50 were selected - 49 are guaranteed to win either airfare for two or a 40-inch Samsung TV, and the other 1 person gets the SUV or $25,000. Kacie and Justin call on behalf of "over 150 companies" but this promotion is for ST Communications, 200 White Plains Road, Talleyrand Office Park, 1st Floor, Tarrytown, NY. And to win all of these prizes? You have to show to this office and commit to a 90-minute presentation. Tomorrow! At either 5:45 p.m. or 8 p.m. And that at the end, prizes are awarded via a scratch-off done on stage. Oh! And everyone gets a "bonus $100 dinner card." As soon as I said I'd need to do some research on ST Communications, allegedly a Travelocity-type company, Kacie hung up on me. How spooky is that - them wanting you to show to some random office park at night within 24 hours?

I just received a VM from Justin at the Prize Notification Center claiming I had won either an SUV or  25k. Thank you to other people for posting your comments. With quick research of the phone number (844)412-3400, I can ignore this scam!!

Things to believe:

• "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch."
• If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
• You have not won big bucks from a benign benefactor, a pot of pesos from PCH, dinero from a doctor, a car from a caller, or a grant from a gracious government    ◄- ◄- ◄- ◄- ◄-
• The tooth fairy really does not exist
• Everything you read on the internet or hear on the phone is not necessarily true.
• It is illegal to ask for money for a loan or prize, before awarding the loan or prize!
• "Free Trips" are loaded with mandatory & costly extras, and you usually must give them your card number after listening to a loooong spiel at a hotel.
• Microsoft or a different famous software company, or one of their agents did NOT cold call you to fix your computer.
• The moon is not made of green cheese.
• The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
• Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
• If you Vanilla Card, MoneyGram or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone.
• You should beware of Geeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse with termites, or a statement that your computer is infected.
• 876 is NOT your lucky number, and it will cost you money to call that area code!
• The number you see on your Caller ID may not be the number of the person who called you!
• The Do Not Call List works as intended.  It is NOT a call blocker!

Beware of the scam!

Same message from Justin, and same award.  Man what a lucky day....Not.  Said it was from a form I filled out anytime in the last 18-months at a mall, or store, or perhaps even on-line...With that level of specificity how could this not be legit.  Zowee!

Zoe is now using the number.

We got a call from someone named Belly.  She stated that we had entered a contest over the passed 18 months and we won either a new suv or $25,000.  The number to call back is 844-880-3403 x 459, they are certainly getting clever with their telemarketing.  Avoid!!!

Zoe left a message on my cell number today from 844-880-3403 x459 congratulating me on my win.  She said I had won a sweepstakes I had entered for a 2016 SUV or $25K.  I pretty much knew this was a scam only because I never, ever, ever give out my cell number.  The only number I list when entering sweepstakes is my work number.

Yup...got exact same message from Zoe. Irritating! Thanks to all for standing together against scamming.

Same deal: I'd won an SUV or $25 K. New caller name and a new phone extension but the same old story. Thanks to the others for posting.

they wanted me to show up alone withing one day. bring a credit card in my name. told me i would have to pay a fee of 500  dollars to be entered into database and collect my prize. this fee would cover all deliverry and taxes . they were very rude and angry , threatining when i wouldnt comply . it felt like a taken movie. "i will find you!" and i will k*** You! kind of thing. evil people.

Funny - I have gotten several calls from thus number -  out if curiosity I called back today - magically the young lady " Valerie " who not 2 seconds earlier had called me was in a meeting ! Kacey agreed to help me! As soon as I started asking questions she hung up on me too !! All I asked was what is this all about - same suv story! But funny they  had no idea who they were talking to - claimed needed my personal info before she could look it up! " I started to say something to her about never calling me again with this [***] scam and before I could get pass I do - she hung up! Something has to be done about this- why even after you hit a - do not call list - are they still allowed to continue with harassing calls???

The voice on my voicemail identified themselves as the Prize notification  Committee calling to announce that my name had been submitted to win an SUV, restaurant discounts....... THe female voice asked me to call back the above "toll free" number to collect my rewards.
