Sounds like a scam

Called left no message, they are now blocked. Thanks to all of you for the information.

Took this guy a long time to get through his prompt sheet because every time I interrupted him asking what type of scam are you running today he had to start at the very beginning with "Hi my name is Eric
It's a guy with India accent claiming I have an account with AT&T Direct TV,

I don't have AT&T or any of its services so there is no reason for a legit At&T rep to be calling me.

Must be a telemarketer spoofing their number.

Called at 9:16 am, Aug 2, 2019.  I picked up phone, but said nothing.  Dead air.  They disconnected the call.  Can't say what it was about.  I will tag it as a scam.

I have no clue. Might be Ed McMahon stating I won a million dollars. Hahahahaha More in likely some Butt cheese trying to steal my money. Blocked call

They called me at 7:25AM.  Way too early for a call.  Left no message on my VM.

Do not disturb turned on, phone identified as spam.  Blocked. Frauds.

Called my land line but I have 844 numbers blocked.  If it really *IS* AT&T, I think Caller ID would read AT&T.  At least my Caller ID read AT&T when their repair service called me a couple of years ago.  Who knows?  But I wouldn't trust this number.

Yep! It's a SCAM call purporting to be AT&T/Direct TV . . . traced to Calcutta! Ummmm . . . nope!

Called, left no message

Called at 6:15 AM, today, claiming to be AT&T/Directv.  Before the man could go any further, I told him not to call and reminded him of what time it was.  Then I hung up and blocked the number.  Obviously a scammer.

One can only hope that KARMA will get these people and make them reincarnate into the cockroaches and rats that they truly are.
