Guys calls and asks for my HR person. I ask who is calling and get the response "Prim"
then I ask where he is calling from and he replies "Chicago"....
Now...when you say this to me, you are being a smart ass...you know I don't care what city/state/actual location you are calling from..(.I had one guy actually say "my office")
so I pause and ask WHAT company are you calling from? and he replies "Paylocity"
I ask my HR if she would like to speak to him and she said no, so I attempted to take a message but he asked for voice-mail- not sure if he actually left one or not

Cold call from a man named Mr. Bechtel who mispronounced the name of the person to whom he requested to speak. Finally revealed the fact that he was calling from Paylocity.

Paylocity called  looking for the person in charge of payroll. Maybe they should do a little research before cold calling because we are a company that does payroll services and process our own payroll in house.

Guy never identified himself or his company, but asked for our controller.
He got his voicemail, and I'm assuming he didn't leave one, because he called back too quickly to have left one.

He then spent a few minutes with me phishing for a name of anyone to contact, and seemed annoyed when all I was willing to give him was a junk e-mail address.

I told these guys no at the beginning of the year, yet every 2-3 months they call, I just put him on hold for a couple minutes until he hung up... waste my time and I'll waste yours!

Caller wanted to speak with person who does payroll.  Very annoying - sounded like a real doofus.
Said his name is Matt Harmon and our payroll admin can reach him at 224 318-3744.  Not the
same number he was calling from.

Mike Falco with Paylocity calling the president of our company with questions about affordable healthcare act and payroll. Gave a call back number of 224-318-3512. Researched and came up with this: Paylocity (NASDAQ: PCTY) develops industry-leading, cloud-based payroll and human capital management software solutions for medium-sized organizations.

These guys are relentless. Call after call after call. If I want to change to their payroll services, I'll let THEM know. Stop harassing me. I'm the HR Director and they want me to switch our payroll vendor. Nope!

It's crazy how after a year of telling them "NO" they still keep calling. I think the last 3 times it was a guy named Lorenzo... he just doesn't understand the word "no" apparently... annoying.

This is a sales pitch for Paylocity.  They call every couple weeks even though I told them I have n o intention at all of changing payroll providers.  Because they do not listen to me there is no way I would EVER consider hiring this company.

So much negativity, if you hear them out you'll find it was worth taking the call. Talked to that same Lorenzo who doesn't take no for an answer. With that kind of passion I decided to see what it was all about and ended up making the switch about a year ago. Sure it was annoying at first but that was probably the best decision I could have made as a business owner.

You know that will only make them call you again and tie up your line. They're just doing their job, just tell them what's going on and it ends.
