Asks to speak to the person who does payroll, then lies like a little turd about them "expecting a call"

Paylocity. I asked what this was regarding, he said payroll. I informed him we don't outsource for payroll because we don't have enough employees to warrant the cost. He said regardless he was calling about payroll. I dumped him in VM.

So sick of this repeated nuisance caller.  Look dip$hit, you aren't getting through.  Not today, not tomorrow, not next week--never!

Called office, asked for person who handles payroll and HR.  I asked who was calling and she said something really fast and I asked what it was in reference to and she got pissy and said she had a direct line, she'd call that (LIE).  I hung up at that point.

These posts are accurate.  Paylocity wanting to sell payroll/human resources services.  They don't take NO as answer, but hey, it's their wasted efforts.  Call Block!

Female caller asked, "for the person that handles your payroll". I then asked, "and your call is in regards to?" The female caller then states, "oh I am just following up with him".... PAUSE.... I think to myself, him? him? him? who is him? I never said is our payroll person is male or female.. Strange I think to myself.. then suddenly CLICK I hang up and block their number. HA HA HA!!!

Calls, asks for person who handles payroll or president of company and then requests a 45 minute meeting with "insert name here" who is a superior of the person who just called you. When directly asked "Is this a sales call?" the caller will do everything to deny it. Asked what we would talk about in this 45 minute meeting and they won't say. "So, you want a 45 minute meeting with me to discuss something you won't articulate? I'm going to need more than that. Does this involve my company buying your product or using your service?" Only then did the caller say it was about HR and Payroll services. "So, when I asked if it was a sales call, the honest answer should have been 'yes" how are we to build an honest and reciprocal client/vendor relationship when it all starts with a lie?" He hung up on me then. AVOID!

We use them for our paychecks. Nothing to be scared about.

Another telemarketer wasting my time. -

This is Paylocity the HR & payroll companys real phone number. They could be calling to get you to use their service, or calling you as a current customer.

Asked for the controller, then said she understood he was the person in charge of payroll. She just had a couple of questions for him. I said no thank you, he doesn't take sales calls, he doesn't answer questions and we should backcharge you for wasting my time. Hung up on her.

That is a badass name though

I get a call every other day from these guys.  When I ask who's calling i get, "geranamo", i'm like WHO?!? and he goes "gurrermo".  says it's about "payroll"  and "not a sales call"

Female who identified herself as "Tyler" said she was with Paylocity.  Told her no thanks when she asked for our payroll person.

Various telemarketers from Paylocity have been calling for at least 4 years.  A couple of months ago a new caller said he had just moved to the area.  I took several minutes explaining our vendor process and provided helpful info that I would want if I were in his shoes.   Today a different caller rang and while he mentioned the previous caller, obviously no one takes detailed notes or follows through.  I can't imagine entrusting them with sensitive information which would include social security numbers, compensation, retirement plans, etc.  If my employer indicated an interest in using their services, I would voice my alarm.

Annoying telemarketer. When you call asking for the person handling something at our company whether it is payroll, HR or whatever you will be sent to VM. Either know who you want to talk to before you call or do not call.

Granted, some of them do their homework, but damn...they are not getting through to Upper Management. No one is expecting their call as they claimed - No scheduled phone call. I'll give the telemarketer kudos for being incredibly polite even after I laughed at him. Major kudos for professionalism, but they're still a sales call.

Caller from a company called Paylocity---which is a payroll processing company.  They always hang up and don't leave a message.

Claims his name is Andy McClane from McClane company.  Nice to know he is actually Paylocity because we have told paylocity that we don't need them and to remove us from their list.  So now he is getting blocked.  Thank you for the comments.
