Got the Geek Squad renewal SCAM email on March 17, 2022 saying they charged my card $445 and thanks for my payment.  I called my local Best Buy who advised it is a scam.  So do I just delete the email?  No one wants it?  The email is from Jonathanese Hawkins.

I received the same scam today via e-mail.  I called him back for amusement.  First question, what state are you in?  Answer:  California  Second question, what is the capital of California.  When he could not answer this basic question he got an earful.

I AGREE a worthless S C A M!! i ALSO received this trash , i did NOT call due to it's widely know scam-trash which those people are.

Mine was in the form of an email signed by "Norten Solution Team"
They got my name correct. Thanked me for renewing my "Geek Squad Prime subscription.Payment for your membership was successfully completed..."

I pay only by check or cash. Bank account is still intact.

I received an email, telling me to call them at (845) 273-5117 to cancel a one-year subscription to BEST BUY Geek Squad  if I did not contact them within 24 hours and tell them I did not want this service. When I called the number on their email, I started the conversation to tell them I did NOT want the subscription. There was no reply, just silence on the other end. I tried twice before I wised up and decided they were either fishing for info or pulling a scam.

I received an email allegedly from Geek Squad, stating my "payment successfully completed" in the amount of $409.90.  The phone number listed, which I did not call, is 801-406-4327.  I know this is a scam because I confirmed it with Best Buy in Pasadena.
