Unwanted call at 6.00 a.m. in the morning

Called 4:30 AM !

Called 4:14 AM with a message from Drug Free Florida. I think they are on drugs calling at that time of the morning.

Called me at 3:45 am. Its bad enough getting garbage calls in the day. When i got the call I thought it was a family emergency . Couldn't go back to sleep. Please shut these idiots down!!!

We received a call at 3:03 am this morning (Robo call). Fear immediately sets in as you think about your children, or any family members. You've got to stop these folks. We are all asking for something to be done. We already know reporting this to the "No Call" list is useless. Where do we go from here????? Called me at 3:53am. Insane!

I received that call last night too....at 3:26AM.  Who robocalls at that hour?  If I wasn't already planning to vote yes on the medical marijuana amendment, I'd change my vote due to being pissed off by a call at that hour.

I got my call at 4:21 am I think who ever was calling me was smoking something at that time of the morning. I'm trying to get a good number for these idiots so that they will stop calling people in the wee hours of the morning.

Received a robocall at 4:43 am regarding marijuana and politics! Who the hell is programming calls at that hour? Isn't it against the law to call after 9:00pm and before 7:00am?

Florida's DNCR, like its big brother run by the FTC, does not cover non-sales calls. Maybe you want to contact Pam Bondi's office or the Secretary of State.

There are, but they have limits. Survey firms can be spanked for breaking TCPA curfew if using autodialers to call mobile phones without prior consent. It's not clear if political speech is covered the same way. Surveys and speech are the least regulated of all nuisance calls, opening vectors for abuse. Reach of the rules aside, I doubt the FCC or state AG Bondi would be happy with some anxious group carpet-bombing people at such unusual hours just to influence votes.

What call categories are not "allowed on a Sunday", please, and by what state or Federal law? You're not going to find many weekend limiters outside the control of sales calls, which these are clearly not.

"Against Amendment #1" of what, please? You picked the wrong call type for invoking the US Constitution, if that's your aim.

The term you want is "telemarketers", not "tell a marketers". Political persuasion is not telemarketing. You were not being sold a good or service. The two call categories don't share the same statutory coverage.

Got a call at 3:28 AM!!!  Call is from the Drug Free Florida Commission.  Really!?!  Did they need to call me this hour.  So sick of the political calls!

I'm curious if this took the form of a push poll or if the canned voice was merely reading off scripted bullet points and not eliciting responses. This could make a difference in legal spanking, if that's feasible.

Yes, but not because the Florida or Federal registries are "useless" but since they do not apply. I had suggested direct contact with the FCC and AG Bondi. Another person suggested a state election authority. I'm underconfident in the reach of TCPA on this one. These are not emergency calls, and they are likely hitting mobile phones without consent, but the group responsible for the nuisance is going to cry and moan for "free speech rights". No one with a stake in privacy would sanely support blasting desperate calls to voters during overnight hours.
