Received a call from a "Diane Post" of Mitchell and Associates.  Left a voicemail for me and all, and return phone call went to "her" voice mail. Can find a website for this "so called" company, but there a no links on the website, and I am totally guessing scam written all over this.  They say they received a formal complaint with my name and social security number, but they do not state either in the voicemail.  BEWARE

Same as A.B. above.  Diane Post left a voicemail saying a formal complaint had been filed against me and they had been trying to contact me, but had heard nothing from me or my counsel.  Did not mention my name or anything at all about said complaint.  Highly unusual that someone trying to get in contact with a person regarding a legal matter would not mention them by name...  I also suspect this is a scam.

Our website is under construction, one of our clients just called us seeing this online.  We are not a scam and are assigned cases for mediation.  Simply call our office, you got an automated call since we have been swamped with cases that did not reply to correspondence sent through the mail.  If you got my voicemail and left me a message I would have returned your call immediately to see if the matter at hand was for you or simply a wrong phone given to our office to reach another party.

You've called from 609-300-2053 supposedly representing something called premierelitegroup.org, another non-existent webpage.

Oh, and let me remind you:  the term "mediator" is a well-worn term used by debt scammers.  The term "mediator" is scammer double talk for debt collector.   Everybody knows that.

http://www.mitchellandassociates.biz/ is working and if you read prior, was under construction.  Also, we have contracts and full documents for all cases we mediate for.  What this is obliviously is people trying to get out of what is legally owed to another party.  Which is why their matter was sent to mediation since they failed to pay a collection agency previously, we try and avoid litigation.  Many many people assume things are scams or report as scam when are trying to get out of paying what they rightfully owe. As they did previously before it got to this level.  Most of what our offices mediates for is Mortgage (foreclosures), bank accounts, small loans etc.  Easiest thing is to return the call or mail...or have your attorney contact us.

Also, Premier elite group was merged with Mediation offices of Mitchell and Associates...hence why the site in question is no longer available for Premier and Mitchell's was under construction.  Enjoy your day ;)

Trying to pull?  Simply answering some incorrect posts stating our firm is a scam yet they were contacted for a reason.  If anyone is concerned, have your attorney contact us immediately, we actually prefer it :)

Wrong.

The easiest thing for the called person to do is to demand a Validation of Debt letter, which, by law, MUST be mailed the supposed debtor within 5 days of the initial contact.

If you are representing a "legitimate" operation, then why do you feel the need to come here to convince anyone of it? Legitimate companies don't have any fear from a few complaints about them, as it certainly would have no impact on them. Its the illegal practitioners who come to do "damage control" to try reassuring their victims they are legitimate.
So if you are sincere about the legitimacy of your company, its something to think about and read what the purpose of this website is for.

If they're contacted for a reason, why don't you leave a complete message? You know, one identifying the person you're trying to scam. I mean, contact. A simple "A formal complaint has been filed against Joe Schmoe. Please call us back" would work. What if there are several people in the household? How would Joe Schmoe know you want him to call and not, say, his brother Moe Schmoe?

Aw,  you know she won't.  You know she'll come up with some lame excuse why she can't give us their legal address. She knows we'll continue believing (knowing) she's a scammer but she'll try other ways to convince us instead of giving us the requested information.

Well, they have a P.O. Box.  But they won't give out a physical address, largely because I suspect they are working out of someone's house or some backroom commercial rental under a different name.  The term "mediator" or "mediation" firm is clearly debt scammer double-talk for debt collector, but they keep insisting that they are totally legitimate.  Despite all the evidence to the contrary.

@TYGERKAT, quite simply, it is illegal for us to leave details about your personal matter on a voicemail.  We need to verify your information before giving such details due to federal law.  If mail wasn't received from us, on the matter, than its more than likely because a forwarding address was not updated.

Anyone called by this group, please note:

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

Again, how would the person you're calling know you're calling them if you don't leave their name on the message? If you call for Joe but his brother Moe calls you back, you're still going to have to tell Moe you want to speak to Joe instead.
And while I didn't mention mail, you did, so let me reply with this: if you can find the phone number of the person you're calling, you can certainly find the address.
