I called the number and just kept pressing 0 until i was able to talk to someone. He kept trying to keep me on the subscription but I kept saying no. Finally he said I would get a refund of 70 some. I had a charge of 29.50, 16.50, and a 30 some charge pending which i didn't even know about it. They also have a website

I have received 3 $2.00 charges to my account.  I never ordered these magazines, nor would I read them.  I would like this money credited to my checking account asap.

Then contact your bank.  Nobody at 800notes can do that for you.

I didn't get a call from these people but I did get 4 charges on my credit card for 4 magazines.  I was receiving the magazines and just wanted them cancelled and to eliminate the recurring payment.  I called my credit card company and they interceded for me.  If the the magazine people told the truth the mags are cancelled and I will be receiving a refund.  We will see.

Works for a company named Synapse Inc. On 225 High Ridge Road in Stamford, CT. 06905 he claims to be a 3rd party Magazine Vendor and works out of something called the East Building Phone number 1-877-813-3200,  That particular phone number has recurring charges on credit cards also so be aware it's very possibly a scam.

The are magazines you ordered. I got the same thing but I found my order slip.

They are from magazine "bonus" subscriptions from a survey or other web based end.  Be sure to cancel each before end of new year or you will be charged full price for new year.  I saw that detail in the small print, but I use and change bank cards quickly to avoid any recurring annual charges.

Update: 04/04/2019  that phone number and the process of getting out of the auto renewal process worked.

Interesting chronological info above. I got a call today from this number on my cell, didn’t answer, and soon I had a voice mail. My iPhone couldn’t translate it like it usually does, perhaps because when I listened the message was either in Japanese or Chinese!  Even though I haven’t ordered any magazines I’ll still watch my bank account and credit cards in case this scheme is still going on.
