- BigA replies to AngryThey call anyone with the same name and try to scare them into paying. If they can get multiple people to pay it is even better for them. since they talked to you or left a message, they must now do this:
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Using the information CWG40 has posted on this page:
You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notion of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it. Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front): http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

- m phillipsReceived a message left on another workers office from 877 864 3522, left the name James neighbors. When call returned voicemail said this is Ben Johnson with Integrated, if you have a number for wage garnishment please enter. I hung up. I receive e-mails with warrants for my arrest constantly unless I pay money. Accounts listed are not me. I also receive these types of call usually the accents are hard to understand. On the e-mails the grammar is appalling, incorrect, I hope the Attorney Geneerals office that they say they are from does not let documents go out like this.

- Becca replies to Amanda| 1 replyGot the same message 2 days in a row from this number!
- Becca replies to BeccaThought it was odd that they called my phone, but used my dads name?? We have no joint accounts! Very annoying!
- kelly replies to Bev| 6 repliesI am getting the same call except they say Kurt Stevens. I know I have a debt but I feel this place is a scam! What can be done? Anybody know?
- MJG replies to kelly| 1 replyNext time they call, DEMAND WRITTEN proof of the "debt" that is MAILED to you. It must give their company information, original creditor information, dates, amounts etc. They then have FIVE DAYS to reply. Refusal to do this is a violation of the FDCPA - and tells you all you need to know about the caller. Making threats by them is also illegal.
- amy replies to Bev| 2 repliesOK since it's been awhile... has anything happened to u? please let me know as a warning. I got in shock about how they say this... I called back & they told me it was from a loan I had last year that I couldn't finish paying.. is it legit? did they do anything to your assets & income tax?
