Scam trying to say computer is blocked and call Microsoft

zeus virus....computer is blocked....call for microsoft tech support.     guy answering my call refused to ID himself or the name of his business.......RED FLAGS!!!!!!!   SCAM!!!!!!!   must be a new virus scamming.

CTRL-ALT-DEL and kill Chrome process - a scam!

Foreign man with bad english wanted to sell me some protection plan.  Had me let him into my computer.  Now i have to tke it somewhere to get it checked out.

I am getting these types of messages daily & only when I'm on social media.

Total Scam, block and pop up says to call Microsoft, gives this number, and they want to take over your computer and charge you $100 CLAIMING they ARE Microsoft.  Real name is Custom Gadget

Same as above, looked up Microsoft support number it didn't match the number on my screen. Thanks Mike for Ctrl,alt, delete advice, just did it. Worked.

this isn't the first time I've been bothered by this.

I've had this happen also. I have a Mac so I have to turn it off by pulling the power cord. Probably another way to do it, but I don't know what it is. Never give someone on the phone access to your computer. Never ever
