This happened to me on Zillow 3-11-2018

Got the same red page warning when starting Microsoft Edge.  Using the Firefox web browser I checked the listed phone number with "800 notes" and sure enough it's a scam.  They should be prosecuted.

Spam attempt, had to use task manager to close chrome in order to get rid of the screen.

I hot the same message. Language was written all wrong. Red screen too!

A red screen popped up while on Zillow 03-13-18
Had this phone number saying to call Google help desk because of a trojan attempt but double checked the number given and viola! First link was to here. Had to use task manager to close the screen too.

I get the message on EDGE< Internet explorer and google.

On EBAY and looking at item from China when red screen came up. Said attempt had been made to steal personal info and call this number for support. Couldn't X out.  Worded very oddly so turned off laptop. Came back up fine. Don't call number or click on screen. See other descriptions for more info.

Red screen appeared on my PC monitor saying "Google Chrome critical error. Your personal login and banking information is at risk call immediately 18552472962."

I called AT&T and ran a check on the number.  The AT&T representative said that there was no such number on their end.

This is definitely a scam do not call number instead report it to Google.

I was on my work VPN using Chrome. Got the red "google chrome you have been infected" notice with the 855-247-2962 number. I googled the number and was led to this page.

I was reading a story on CNBC when the same thing popped up on my screen.  Had to do a hard reboot to make it go away.

we recieved the same for google chrome???  thinking of taking chrome out of the computer for good.    may try firefox.

on chrome but now on Edge, running Norton but I know their reply--"No threats" lol

Same, got on chrome, shut down using task manager, rebooting.

Same thing with Overstock.com. Wouldn't close, so I shut down.

Same thing just happened to me, so I called the number, and a guy with a very foreign voice claimed his name was Andy Smith! Yeah, right!? I hung up, called my bank, and temporarily froze my account and credit cards.

Killing google through task manager was the only way I got it to go away. Thanks.

Seems to be an Overstock problen because I was browsing the same page.
