I think this is a spoofed number that called me. Sounded like a call center, they wanted to ask me a lot of personal questions saying they were the New York State Health Department. Really strange. I declined to answer any questions, I got the vibe that they were phishing for any info on me that they could get. Probably a scam.

Got a call from a 518 area code, identified as NY Health Dept., left a callback number: 855-376-3505, no affiliation with the health department!

Called Sunday night at 7:32pm claiming to be from the NYS Dept. Of Health doing a Study of the health of US residents. Asked me to call 855-276-3505. Called from 518-889-2627.

Got a call from 518-735-7319
Message said they were from NYS dept of health to conduct an important study on the health of the resident. I have no clue what this is. They called at 8:21pm. Left a different number to call him back 1-855-276-3505. And would attempt to call back within the next few days. Who is this? Is this is a scam to get my information?

I have been getting calls from 518-504-2420 claiming to be from NYS Dept of Health.  The message also says to call them back at 1-855-276-3505

They called from a 518 number claiming to be NY health department doing an important health study on US residence and then left this number in case of any questions: 1-855-276-3505. Stated they would call back in a few days to interview.

On Friday a call from a 518 number which was ignored since the number was not recognized. An automated message was left claiming to have some sort of connection the NYS Department of Health which  said to call the 855 number in question.

It was a little confusing due to the fact that my mother had stayed in a nursing home for physical therapy. Top that with the fact  I received disability benefits and had just applied for for EBT renewal.
When  listened to the message again this morning I realized the message asked to call at our convenience. As a result I am ignoring the message and will block the number
