My message said chase

Text saying call Chase Bank. No account at Chase.  Blocking number. Don't call and don't give info.

Text to call this number: "Chase Client". I do not have a Chase acct. blocking immediately.

got below txt message.  Glad I googled before calling back... I do have a Chase Credit card, but this looks phishing...

CHASE Client ID: <my number>, CALL NOW (855)277-7117.

I got same message however i do have Chase account so called and started to put in my atm card number but my good senses told me not to.  I hung up called my bank and they immediately deactivated my card and sent me a new one, told me Chase would never send a text message and only talk to the number on the back of my card.

Received text message stating it's from CHASE. Asked me to CALL NOW (855) 277-7117. Said my CHASE CLIENT ID was <my cell number lol>.

Called the number for fun and got an automated message asking me to press one to reactivate my card. I pressed 1 and it asked me for my card number.  Obvious phishing expedition as I do NOT have any CHASE credit cards nor do I have any accounts with CHASE.

However, I can see some poor ignoramus getting scammed and entering what they ask for.

I just got the same message - showing CHASE Client ID = to my cell phone#, and to CALL NOW (855) 277-7117.  I do have Chase credit card, so first thing I do is check the back of my credit card to see if the number matches.  No dice.  Next I googled and found this.  Definitely a new scam.

Just received a text like the others regarding a chase account with client ID as my cell phone number. Never heard of a bank account ID as a cell number! Bogus. These people are getting more creative. This is the first "text scam" I have received. They must be tired of people not answering their calls or actually having to talk to people. BLOCKED.  I really hope that all their work has gone in vain and no one ever falls for these scams.

Also, I do not have an account with Chase.

Text came from 855-531-0845, with a message identifying as Chase, and to call 855-277-7117.

Yup, just got a text message saying:  "CHASE Client ID: (my cell number) CALL NOW : 855-277-7117"  The number it came from was: 855-572-0944.
I haven't had a Chase account in over 8 years.

Same as above, but mine was from "Chase". Figured it was probably B.S. but I did call call. Answered by a poorly automated voice asking me to enter my full account #. Obviously I didn't enter it but hung up.

Got same message just now.    Call came from 855 531 0845 but to call 855 277 7117.  Total scam.

I received a text stating Account Locked from American Federal FCU. It's spam since I have no account there and there was a bogus phone number attached: 215-515-5137.

Just got a text from them... it was:
CHASE ID: (my phone number here) CALL NOW: (855-277-7117)
Calling the number gets you a recording asking if you want to reactivate your card.
Sounded fishy (phishy too) so I call my bank and made sure my credit card was not used and there was no fraud alert.
NEVER put your card number or social security number into a phone.
*Always call the bank or credit card company directly from the number listed on the bank of the card if you have any suspicions.

Got a text message on my iPhone from 1 (844) 218-2905 , saying "Chase Bank -- ACCOUNT LOCKED Member: [my phone number]. Urgent CALL: (855) 277-7117.

Received an email from 855-577-5344 as a SMS txt to email claiming they are Chase Bank and that my account has been frozen and should immediately call (855) 277-7117
Jokes on them. I don't have a Chase Card HA!
Reported them to .gov as fraud.

Got the same text, definitely bogus

Got a text message from (949) 267-3826 on my work phone.  The message reads "Chase Bank - ACCOUNT LOCKED Member: xxxxxxxxxx (my phone number) . Urgent CALL : (855) 277-7117"

I do not have a Chase Bank account linked to the work phone.  Nice try, scammers.
