Glad I decided to look this number up! I have been getting these calls from this number also. Told me I took out a loan online and never paid it back 7 yrs ago! I informed her I NEVER took out a loan online and she stated that I'd have to go to court to show it was fraud then. Asked them for information and they have my SS# and where I work! These people are so aggravating, it's an invasion of privacy. I hung up on her. A couple weeks later they started calling around to my family. Thank God they all told them it was none of their business and hung up on them. Don't give these people the time of day, they are trying to scare people into giving them money. They also use the #866428-8043. Just don't answer it.

This has been a nightmare. Same as everyone else. Calling asking for my husband. Says they have a claim against him. If he doesn't pay the are serving him with papers. I ask what address. They give me a 8yr old address. I tell them it's wrong. They hang up. They call all day long non stop. They call  Us,  Our sons phone, my husbands brothers. This is a nightmare.  We owe them nothing! How can they do this to us. This is American. Help us. What can we go.

In addition to this read CWG40's post on page 3.

IPS is a known criminal enterprise pretending to be a debt collectors.  Not sure if they are associated with SAR & Associates in Florida but the 2 names pop up a lot in the same number threads.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

I have been getting calls from these people for a couple of weeks now. I have answered once but mostly a message is left on my answering machine. I have called them back twice and have gotten two different people. One call sounded like it rang to a residence and this lady called me again when I hung up on her. I talked to a second lady who told me she could not take me off her call list unless I gave her my phone number. I told her absolutely not and that I was going to report her. The time I answered the call the man hung up on me when I told him to stop calling my house. I have sent a complaint to the FCC, updated the Do Not Call registry and blocked the numbers but they just call with a different number. I have no debt, I owe nobody money so these definitely have to be fraudulent. Also when they leave a message, they don't even have the right name. They ask for Alicia Fenton which I most definitely am not.

Received calls from this number as well as others. I get a recording saying this message is specifically for a certain caller and if this is not them hang up and disregard the notice. I have received a total of 7 calls from different numbers in the past 10 months. They were convincingly legitimate sounding at first but now are rude and threatening. They claim I owe on a payday loan from 7 years ago though I have checked all my bank records, emails, etc and I know this is not true.
DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY OR ANY OTHER INFORMATION THEY CAN GET FROM YOU. THEY ARE NOT LEGITIMATE AND DONT CARE IF YOU THREATEN THEM OR REPORT THEM, THEY ARE OUTSIDE THE LAW. A LEGITIMATE COLLECTION AGENCY WILL ALWAYS CONTACT YOU BY POSTAL MAIL WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF A CALL. DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE. DO NOT MAKE YOURSELF AN EASY TARGET AND THEY WILL EVENTUALLY LET UP.

Joel Tucker did this to you, he is gone by this point....When you read this he is either in Costa Rica or MIGHT still be in KC...

That being said the only person you are going to be able to hold accountable stateside is Tim Harris - Virtual Design House, Inc - Santa Rosa California, Dennis Burkhardt - Gray Wave Capital Management - Vail, CO and Hirsch Mohindra - Ashton Asset Management/Berklee Development - 630-243-4210. These guys continue to buy and sell your information after they got it from Joel...

In this case Damian Alvarez is the culprit who runs SAR however. You need to report it to the AG office of Florida and cfpb. Alan Alvarez is only the front....305-305-9373. He has a history of running drugs and fraud...including counterfeiting $$$$....

Del Kimball the owner of LTS may be garbage, but he isn't involved in this
