Scammers.  They keep calling my number about a legal  matter that is nonexistant.  They often change their number but it is usually an 855 number.  I block them every time they call from a new number.

threats on a old credit card....want stop calling....warning me of court....but want give there adress

Recorded message about "important legal matter", blah, blah, blah..."We must receive a statement from you or your attorney today in order to reslove this matter".....jerks have been leaving the same stupid message for over a year now...all threats!

They are calling me several times per day. I keep ignoring them, but they just keep calling.

They have called me 5 times today and 5 times yesterday. They change their number but they are always 855. I don't answer. They do not give out their address or send anything in writing.

URG - United Recovery Group. Generally rude with an attitude. I simply called the company who I owed the debt too, paid them not URG. blocked the calls with Mr Number. About 3 days later I noticed the the calls stopped.

This company is harassing our family looking for an man we never heard of. We explained that we have had our number for 20 years and the man they are looking for has an African name. We have explained over and over that we don't know the man they are looking for yet they keep calling daily. It makes no sense.

They call and keep harassing demanding money or I will be taken to court. It's becoming annoying

I have received over 6 calls today from 855 300 9514. URG, I asked what it stood for and then gentleman said United Receivables Group and wanted me to verify my social security number. I do not know these people.

i hear the same thing - legal matter blah blah, but the calls are for my ex husband of 10 years!! I'm about SICK OF this!

They said I owed a debt I told them to send me proof. They said they alredy did and that was a lie. I said I'm recording this call and they didn't want me to do that. That's because they are scammers. Don't give them any money or information!!

Same here....always looking for someone I've never heard of.  I've told them numerous times I do not know this guy and to please stop calling me but they continue.  Yes, I'm blocking their number.  Why don't people get a legit job and stop trying to scam everybody?

This number has been calling my cell phone and home phone for over a year now. Everyone else is correct in saying that the company is URG and that they are a debt collector. Unfortunately, I cannot be sure of who they are collecting for... Nor can I say with any honesty whether they are legitimate or scammers, as I do have several accounts in collection for many years from a series of naïve mistakes in my younger days (I had good intentions, but not much of a brain!). But I would say with 95% surety that URG is a legit company attempting to collect legit debts for other companies. However, I believe their collection techniques cross the line into harassment, and are against the law according to federal guidelines that they must follow (having worked collections for a credit card company that was involved in more than one class-action lawsuit for breaking said laws, I'm aware of the strict rules they're supposed to follow... And after all the companies who have paid out multi-million dollar settlements and many went completely under as a result, you'd think they'd learn!). Also note that two of the other '855' numbers they call from are:

And I add each of the numbers they call from to my block list in my iPhone, and then I never even know they've called until in look at the "blocked calls" list of voicemails in my visual voicemail box and see the HUGE LIST of '855' numbers! Lol!
