I received a voice mail saying the exact same thing as everyone else has posted. It scared the crap out of me because they used my married name from my ex that I haven't been married to for 15yrs. My ex was so nice to take out a bunch of loans in my name. I've spent years cleaning it up. So glad to know this is only a scam!

You cannot be arrested for an ordinary civil debt.  Being in debt is not a crime.  They were just trying to scare you.  Block their calls and ignore them.  Do not talk to them or give them any information.  Do not pay them anything or agree to.  Read the other notes, these people are debt scammers, pure and simple.  Don't let them push you around.

If they continue to bother you, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.  If you can find out where they are located.

Go back to the bank and cancel your cc and get new bank account numbers.  DO IT QUICKTIME!  These people are scammers!

855 303 2206 is a major scam .. Beware of its

The message left for me said something along the same line as the above phone calls, the number given to call them back was 855-303-242 as you can see it is not a complete phone number.

they threatened me with some vague action if I did not call them back in reference to some file number that they claim is mine.

These robo calls are not only illegal but the swindlers making them can be sued big time.

Anybody else getting these calls should also look into Top Class Action on the internet , Top Class Action  reports on the lawsuits against these swindlers and tells use how to get in line for the settlements from Court actions against them.
