The annoying thing is that they got our name right, and we do have a NationStar mortgage.

This call is a scam pretending an urgent message.

Perhaps they are attempting to reach an employee but am only receiving partial message with the phone number and a "personal id# to be used."

Claimed to be Nationstar, but I called the company on one of their posted numbers and they could not verify it is a number they use.

I had a similar experience.  They called me on my cell and left a message but then they called me at work.  Of course I have to answer that phone.  I didn't press whatever they wanted me to press to connect the call...knew I was up-to-date and I opted out of sales calls from Nationstar (they have to mail me a letter or send me an email instead) so had a feeling it was a scam.  Thanks to all who have posted!

Same as above received a urgent message to call back in 24 hours with a personal message code.

I received this same message today, called the number: 855-313-0994 and got the same request for name and zip code, at which point I ended the call.  Then I called NationStar and was told that this is an automated call from Nationstar harassing customers about payment due.  I repeated the number and again was told that Nationstar is calling using this number to call customers and nag them about their upcoming payment due.  Nationstar is a debt collection agency and treats mortgage holders as delinquents if they use their full time to pay their loan payments.

I got the same call at work. this was for my boss who is out of town. I thought this is odd, I have Nation Star and I'm sure they call me on my home phone. but I don't answer. instead they bombard me with letters trying to get me to refinance,

calling a nursing home and asking for a specific person and leaves a code and message. Has been calling person for about 2 weeks now. Shame if it is Nation Star Mortgage., they bombard me with mail daily wanting me to refinance or take out a home equity loan, have never cared for them after BOA sold off my loan to them.

I received a call on my cell from 888-480-2432 (I let it go to V.M.) The recorded message stated it was Nationstar (I've been a Nationstar mortgage customer for years - when my Cenlar mortgage was sold to them).  The robotic message said to call 855-313-0994, stating I had 24 hrs to call it back regarding my account status.  It gave me a "personal message code" that it asked me to give when I called.
I immediately logged into my Nationstar profile - I am current and there were NO messages or alerts either on my web profile, or my e-mail.  I have reported this direct to Nationstar - and DID NOT RETURN THE CALL.

When I called Nationstar, the rep told me is was a good number and they had automated calls going out. Either this rep is in on the scam, or she has no idea what is going on...

for information by posting your email address is not allowed and is an extremely foolish act.

I received this call from same number with a msg to call back within 24 hours regarding my mortgage account from Nationstar/ Mr Cooper called the customer service number which the caller id showed it came from they said they have no record of the call. Are they hacked?

Tells you that they are either Nationstar or Mr. Cooper and advise you to call back within 24 hours. They leave a personal message number. THIS IS A SCAM!!
I called Nationstar/Mr. Cooper directly and they confirmed that they did not call me. They also do not use personal message numbers.

Called saying they were Mr. Cooper and needed  _______ (insert mortgage holder's name)  to call them with 24 hours.  The call appears on Caller ID  to come from Mr. Cooper Customer Service (but it likely is not). They then tell you to call 855-313-0994 and enter personal message code (they provided).

Same deal as so many of these entries. A robo call asking that a colleague call "Mr. cooper" at the this number, but call number appeared as 888-480-2432. I took down the information thinking I'd ping the colleague in question, but now I know I've simply dodged a bullet.

Got the same call. Immediately went online to check my account . Found no issues, so reason for the "call within 24 hours," message. Obviously some  sort of scam.

Exact same here for coworker!!! Too Fishy!!!  Numbers were 855-313-0994 and 888-480-2432 then code of 6 numbers.

Same as other messages from 2013 shown here.  Left a message on my work number saying I needed to call back within 24 hours re my mortgage with Mr. Cooper.  They gave a call back Ref #.  I called my mortgage company directly instead and they could not verify this was one of their numbers, or that the call came from them - they had no log of calls put out to me.  SCAM!!!  I don't know who they are but they are NOT my mortgage company.
