i cant speak for everyone but the debt i owed with them was legit and they helped me resolve through a payment arrangement.

I received a call that went to voicemail from a Oscar Morrison-8553157385 he was calling from the County Liason Office stating that there is a case that came under his watch from a financial liability reporting of a debt not paid  filed under my name and social and say that the case is in ( notice of action) along with a message that I was going to be served at home or at work due to not responding to  a letter that I supposedly got in the  mail, never seen a letter of course
There was nothing mentioned of who the debt was owed to just to get in contact with the person.
Has anyone received a message from this person and if so what did they say to you?

ps - Here are some clues for future readers:
-  Why would your county have a toll-free 855 number? Does that make sense to you? County Governments don't give ice water to Eskimos much less have toll free numbers.
- Language of the "officer" sounds a bit ..... contrived?    "Case came under his watch"? and "Under your name and social"?  Under his watch is not even correct cop lingo.
- What is a County Liaison Officer?  Don't they just go Liais and have nothing to do with enforcement?  The crooks know that there is not much of a chance they will get in trouble for impersonating a position that is unlikely to even exist.

Amber Tate called from Laisons Office - 256.860.1301 stating that she will serve me papers. Didn't leave a case number. I called 855.315.7385 (Legal Services Associates and Consultants) and was told that by Jason and some other woman I owe for National Cash Advance (which doesn't offer loans in my state) and they then threatened to garnish my wages. First, they were going to serve me papers but now, are going to garnish my wages... if I don't pay $1800 to them immediately. Is $1800 the standard amount? They have my address and debit card number. They did not begin with the standard collection disclaimer... just began to threaten me. I spoke with my brother who is a Sheriff and told me this is a scam and not to pay them one thin dime.

This is a total scam they keep changing their number and the name of their company but these people have been trying to get me to pay some bogus debt for the last 4 years.  I like to play along and make them think I am all worried and scared before I drop big F off on them.  Bottom line is a process server will NEVER contact you by phone because they lose the element of surprise, trust me on this I know.  If they threaten to come to your home or work tell them to go ahead and come... They won't and they will change up their script.  They are located out of New York so I found what Borough they were located in at the time and filed a complaint online with their local Attorney General and it stopped for about a year until they moved to a different area.

Just got a call from this number told me i would be serviced legal papers.

I got the same thing yesterday telling me I owe 5000 dollars to a check cashing place and I kinda chuckled and it pissed him off cause I told him it was a scam and the caller was said they were from legal services

I received a message from the same number make threats. I called the attorney general office and filed a claim with  Consumers Financial Protection.

Hi message is my _⁠_⁠_⁠_ leave for______ my name is Carrie Morgan I'm contacting you from locating services due to a recent case I was filed against you to legal services looks like there was a notice of action mail to you through financial liability reporting service unfortunately you have not responded with a statement at the signed legal services _⁠_ requesting for documentation to be served you at your residence and or a place of employment if you are not going to be available and you will need to reschedule prior to a notice of complaint being filed or if you are still looking to place a statement on record due to the evidence that was submitted against you I suggest either yourself or representing attorney contact the office today directly at 855-315-7385 you can refer to case number_______ thank you and have a nice day…” I received this yesterday. They even called my young daughter at college. When I called back to ask what this was about, who they were, I got a man by the name of “Jason Lewis”, he was rude, arrogant, smart mouth & said he doesn’t have a supervisor when I asked to speak to his super. I told him I have a right to know what this is about, he replied “why are you upset? You must have a lot of debt! Do you?”, I told him my life was none of his business but if you’re going to call & threaten me then I have a right to know what this is about, he refused again. I told him that’s fine, I’ll have my attorney contact him & “Jason Lewis” replied “ you just do that & see where it gets you”, I told mr. Lewis that his name is all over the Internet for scamming people, harassing & threatening, & refusing to say what it’s about. Mr. Leeds laughed & called me a liar, then hung up on me. That I know of I’ve never been to a check cashing place, I ran my credit report to find nothing so other then a scammer, I don’t have a clue.

They’re calling from 505-302-9483. Sad when they’re trying to scam a person that is 100 disabled & trying to raise kids on that income alone. BE WARE OF THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!

This company called me threatening me, telling me that they were going to garnish my wages. I called the bank any claim I never had a checking acct with them to even bounce a check. I called them back and the lady Kept getting smart saying she was not about to go back and fourth with me. I hung up and googled the number and found out it was a scam.

Got a nasty call from this number.  once I put the number into Google it came up scam. Scary thing that had last 4 digits of my SS#
