I got a call from this number today May 26, 2015. They called two times (directly after each other) then left a voicemail. The first thing I hear is a little baby say "mama" then this male asked for a Marcus O'Neill. They had the wrong number. I could not understand what my message said. All I could make out is that they wanted Marcus to verify his social security number, address, and his employer. I think this a scam to get your information. What debt collector has a baby by the phone?

I get calls from these guys ALL the time. I am so sick of it. I have told them repeatedly I am NOT the person they are trying to get into contact with, and to take my number off the call list. Have they done that...NO!!!!!! This has got to be harassment. I  about ready to file charges.

This company is claiming I opened up all these loans which is not true and I have no clue how they have all my personal information. This guy I talked to by the name of Ron Woods was extremely rude, communicating threats to me as far as turning me in to the authorities, calling me stupid, cursing me, would not like me respond to anything he was saying, making negative comments about my personal life, kept saying "well you are refusing so I'm turning you in", and then he put me on mute for almost 20 mins saying "I'm just going to let you talk". Then when I was on hold, I heard him talking to someone in the background calling me "stupid"

I started getting these debt collector calls after the T-Mobile hack. I wonder if they're connected. Because they had my main number and called the number for my mom, asking me by name, who has that line less than a year. Coincidence? Good thing I'm not stupid and track my credit report. These people are hacks and scammers.

    Not falling for it
I've been getting these kind of calls for YEARS from different caller IDs, which are probably spoofed.  They leave messages that it is very important that I call them back.  Sometimes, they say they will serve papers on me at home or work.  I never answer the phone.  I never call back.  They never serve papers.  I wish they would, because then I would sue them, because I assume they have old debts that have been discharged through bankruptcy or paid off, since I have no collectible debts against me, so they are in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  DO NOT ANSWER THE CALL and DO NOT CALL BACK.  Do not confirm or give them any information.  Do not acknowledge any debt to them, because it is possible to reaffirm a debt that was not legally collectible and make it legitimate, again.  Many of these people are calling from outside of the USA, using spoofed caller IDs to make them appear local.

I am sick and tired of these idiots calling. What they need to do is go get a real job, instead of trying to scam and steal money from people.

    Bored
Obviously, a robo caller, because the caller's recording starts talking during my answering machine's recorded announcement.  The rest of the message that recorded on my machine was: "Please press 1 to be transferred to a representative.  If you are not available at the moment, please return this call immediately.  The number is (855) 323-8822.  Again, this is a very important matter. We must speak with you immediately."  Well, scammers, it might be important to you, but it isn't to me.  I do not have any outstanding debt.

On another website, someone reported this call as being from Asset Management Service Group, who claimed they took out loans that they did not take out, and said the caller would not give them the physical address of the company.  This is the third call I've gotten today from different numbers that don't leave a message.  First call was a robo caller that left no message.  A few minutes later, a different number called and a real person was on the line, but left no message.  Less than 2 hours later, I got this call from (678) 619-5974 with caller ID Jonesboro, GA, which left a message to call (855) 323-8822.  I often get these types of calls in groups of three within a two-hour period.  I'm sure it is the same scammer using spoofed numbers and robo-dialers.

Some of these callers threaten to serve papers on me at my workplace or home.  That's no threat, because if they ever did, I would have their names and location and would sue them for violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, among other charges.  But no one ever shows up serving papers.

This time the caller ID was Vocalocity, Inc., which is the name of a company that used to provide voice-over-internet services for companies to use to make outgoing calls to mask their phone numbers. They left the same message as previous calls with different phone numbers with caller IDs of Jonesboro, GA, and Jackson, MS:
"…press 1 to be transferred to a representative.  If you are not available at the moment, please return this call immediately.  The number is (855) 323-8822.  Again, this is a very important matter. We must speak with you immediately. Thank you."

It's only important to them.  I assume they are attempting to illegally collect old debts that were paid or discharged.  I never call them back.  I've been getting these types of calls for years and I always ignore them…immediately.

Received another call from these guys from yet another caller ID.

Starts speaking before the answering machine is done with the announcement and identifies as AMSG (reported by other call recipients as standing for Asset Management Service Group).  The rest of the message is:

"…press 1 to be transferred to a representative.  If you are not available at the moment, please return this call immediately.  The number is (855) 323-8822.  Again, this is a very important matter. We must speak with you immediately. Thank you."

Received the same recorded message from different numbers with the following caller IDs: Jonesboro, GA; Jackson, MS; Vocalocity, Inc.; and Danville, KY.  Also, received a call with the same number as the Danville ID, only it came up as caller ID of UNKNOWN & left no message.  They are spoofing numbers, including my own, so it appears that I am receiving a call from myself.

Please note that I know from an extensive credit report & background check, which I requested at a U.S. government office, including passing a Homeland Security check by a federal employer, that there are no collectible debts pending against me.  I ignore these calls.
