    >> It's a legit number from Microsoft   <<

If that is true, give us the Microsoft web page that displays that phone number!

If you fail to reply, we will consider your post to be from a shill for some illegal computer scammer.

When I tried to log in to my Patients First account, I had to select either a text or phone verification.  This number 855-330-8653 immediately called and a robot requested that I push Pound to verify, which allowed me access to my account.  You can go into your settings for whichever account you were trying to access and disable the "two-factor authentication" and you won't have to deal with this.

This number is used for automated calls as part of two part authentication. You log into a site or service on your computer (Citrix) and an automated call is made to the number registered on your account that prompts you to enter a PIN.

If you are getting a call from this number and it's an automated prompt for your PIN, then someone has incorrectly added your phone number to their account.

If you are getting a call with a live person then another company is spoofing the phone number.

You must be a scammer supporting this number because you even sound like a scammer. This was a scam phone call, I don't use any sort of service like this.

There is a lot of scammers here claiming this is legit..  It's not. I don't use this service. And you posted your post in March but in your writing you said the day was 1-31 as in January..  Scammer.

See look at the way you wrote everything..  Your broken English is proof to me this is a scam. You write like someone in India talks. Also, I don't even use this program! So it's not legit if it's calling me!

I completely agree! If you look, most of them even type in broken English like someone in India would be speaking...  Scammers..

It is a scam. You can tell from their broken English that they are scammers from India. I don't even use the programs they mentioned. I think they are trying to find businesses and get into their servers.

legit to me, Our company now uses Office 365 / Onedrive  and you occasionally need to login to MS when accessing remotely. The response is as Matt says above (press #) since my phone number for this authentication is configured in my companies HR system /  Domain.

You claim you know who called you (Microsoft), and they asked you for an identification code? So your first impulse was to look up this number even though you claim to know who called you? The only thing I don't doubt is that you are a scammer trying to convince people to answer this call and either readily give out information or pay money.

Most definitely legit. It IS Microsoft validation used when checking company email remotely. Not a scam. I'm listing 'this as an "event reminder" as drop down menu gives no truly accurate choices.
