Debt collectors stating that they have a lawsuit filed against you and to call them before you are arrested. Same crap different company. I called  the number back on a restricted line they state that the company name is NLS.n I couldn't find anything about them they must be new.Call came up on my ID as 000-000-0000 and when I didn't answer that call then they use a local number that didn't ring at all when I called that back.

This company is New Leaf Solutions a bottom feader collection agency that is trying to collect zombie debts with bad information. I think this is one of those companies Randall Goins was operating. This company has complaints with the BBB and tons of others on the inrernet. DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE. File a complaint with the FBI and the FTC you can do both on-line. Let other know about these people and spread the word. The use scare tatics so people will pay them and they prey on the eldely.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Thanks Big A. I've been doing some research and these people are cream of the crop of scumbag debt collectors...

When they call they state they are calling from NLS but they didn't state they were debt collectors and they stated there is a  lawsuit pending against me blah blah blah...same old crap I just wish these people would go away but since they won't I spread the word as much as I can so other people son't fall victims to their scam.

BBB lists an alternate business name as NLS.

Wow really great operation these people have going. People like this just p*ss me off it seems like their mission in life is to live off of other people's honestly earned money. I read stories on here all the time how they scare people into paying them that's why when I get a call  from these scumbags I jump on here and report it if it helps someone it's worth the few minutes of my time it took to report it. I've had to deal with creeps like this on and off for years,

Ok so they called again today with this number 000-000-0000. I knew immediately it was them. I spoke to Linda she gave me a case number but said if I could pay or make a payment arrangement the case would never see a courtroom. I told her  that I was going to call the the county clerk to see if there really was a case pending under the case file number she had given me. She got a little mad and said "Why waste your time when if just make a payment it will all go away?"' So I said "Ok then send me proof of the debt in writing to my home via the US mail and if it's all in order I will pay at that time". I owe 2 debts which I'm paying on through a legit company so I know this is bogus but I was bored so I thought I'd piss her off.) She said she didn't have to send me nothing them wished me luck in court. I said if she kept calling me and violating the FDCPA I'd be seeing her in court. She hung up on me. They called again an hour ago I blocked the number.

These people just started calling me. Did the finally stop calling you?

The keep calling but maybe once every couple days. I just ignore the call eventually they will quit. Report on-line to the ftc.gov but please don't pay them.
