I received call from a Jason Wesley yesterday, incoming number showing unknown, but listed 855-343-2290 as the number to call back. They were looking for the brother of an old room mate of mine from 10 years ago.   Left a voice mail message pretty much the same as what others have posted.

I will say that if this is really a debt collection agency, they violated about 3 or 4 different laws in the FDCPA with that message.  I worked in collections for 10 years and was a portfolio manager at one time.

If this is real, I plan to also find the person they are looking for and turn over the voice mail as evidence for him to sue the living you know what out of Jason Wesley and this company.

I think they also tried to call today as well, just got another unknown number call, no message left this time.

They are scammers, they have called me twice in December and just yesterday. They have called my in-laws also which they knew they were scamming.  Getting sick of being harassed.  Wish that there was something to make them stop.

Idiots! Keep calling,  first it was phone #'s then blocked them.  Now using Unavailable - same msg as all complaints above asking for someone to deliver docs to home/work.  bring it on...don't answer any numbers I don't know anymore.  Let it go to voice msgs.

I just got a message from William Thomas as well saying the exact same thing.  The call back number is not 855-343-2290 but 855-415-4518.  They must have had to change.

Here's a text They sent me: A lawsuit has been filed & arrest warrant has been issued on your name. This may arise legal consequences at your home & employment place. If you want to resolve it, call back at State Attorney's Office on (917) 524-8393.
Apparently this number is connected with all these other numbers. I even save the voicemails they leave on my phone. I'm already stressed out enough any more calls from these people and I'm gonna end up in the hospital. I'm only 35.   I live in Salem, Oregon. I contacted the FBI and the US Treasury Department. I hope these people get caught.

Try not to worry yourself.  This is a scam.  Most likely coming from India or Pakistan.  If a civil lawsuit was filed against you, you'd have been notified by US mail by the attorney for the other party.  You'd have a paper trail.  If you were the subject of a criminal investigation you'd have been interviewed on a face-to-face basis by membres of law enforcement.  Arrest warrants are only issued by local judges and are only issued to duly constituted officers of the law and are only used in criminal cases.  No public prosecutor would act in this manner.  You certainly would not be notified by cold call.  This is a total scam.  Ignore and block these calls.

Got a similar message left on our answering machine as the others. Looking for our son to serve him with papers etc. Threatened legal action against him. He hasn't lived here in over 15 years so not sure why they call us. Guy called himself William Thomas so I found it interesting that one of the previous posts said the guy gave his name as Thomas Wayne - moving the last name to first and retaining the same initials only reversed. This isn't our first rodeo with scammers like this. They dare not send anything through the mail = proof and becomes a federal crime. Glad to read the other posts. Puts my mind at ease that these guys are scammers - just as I assumed. We'll ignore them.

Not only has this company called me at home (three times after being informed the were calling a cell phone and asked to desist), they left two messages at my work place. When I attempted to phone the number given, to let them know a complaint had been filed with the local police department, the voicemail that answered said "we are unavailable, please leave a message", because that's how legitimate companies set up their voice mails....

Same as all of the above. "Unknown" number on cell phone left message saying papers were trying to be delivered. Got a call on my home phone, spoke with a person this time. She said "documents tried to be delivered, but no one was home to sign." She wanted me to call a number to re-send.

I have dealt with scams repeatedly for 5 years now. I told her I would not call any number. If there were papers to be delivered, they would have been delivered as someone is at my home all day long. She could have them "delivered".

She tried to write me as non compliant. I told her to go ahead. She couldn't pronounce my name correctly, give me any information as to her company, or who had a "complaint against me" as I don't owe anyone money/pay my bills/dont have any loans or credit cards.

I told her this isn't my first time and I will it fall for her sh!@.

Received a "restricted" # call this morning and it went to voicemail.  He said his name is Joey Peterson from "Certified Documentation Delivery" with a "complaint filed against me" using a complaint number.  Wants me to call issuing company for me to issue a statement at 844-652-9516.  Said same thing as another one I just read above:  "scheduled to come to my previous employer and where I live for delivery & signature today."  Besides this being very strange to begin with, the strangest part of the message says:  "will not make a decision on this claim file without my consent."  Now that's pretty weird!

I received a call from a man claiming to be with with a document service company today. He asked for me by name and then asked for my parents regarding legal papers he was trying to serve them with. I told him that I don't live anywhere near them and he insisted that I relay the message to them. I asked how he got my contact info and he said "you are a first degree relative and I am just trying to do my job"
