- Ernie| 1 replyI haven't gotten any call, however, did receive a letter from "Resort Notification Services" (Las Vegas) about eliminating timeshare maintenance fees.
This really LOOKS official. I strongly suspect it's a scam. I got to this w-page while investigating. - Lou| 1 replyI think I might have received a call from this number (get so many, lose count) but I did get the same letter today from Las Vegas about eliminating timeshare maint. fees. We never had a time share anywhere so I too suspect this is a scam!!
- Ken| 1 replyWe just received a letter today about the same thing. We do have a time share but felt strange about this letter. They also said they had called several times. Some company out of Las Vegas, NV. I tried to look up the area code and it does not valid. I looked up the country code and it came back as Cambodia.

- CarolI, too received a letter. The number to call was 855-739-7400. The letter said they have attempted contacting me several times without success. I placed it in the trash can. Anything that is too good to be true (IE not having to pay maintenance fees for your timeshare) usually is a scam!!!
- Sandy| 2 repliesI also received the letter. No member of my household has ever owned a timeshare.
- metoo replies to SandyI got the same letter saying they have been trying to contact me, from Las Vegas with the # 855-739-7400. I've never owned a time share and the letter doesn't look very official to me at all-I'm sure it's a scam.
- MatthewI received a letter today about Timeshare Maintenance Fees being permanently eliminated! I don't have a time share and the letter is not even signed! It probably is a scam.

- RenaI got a letter in the mail today that said this company, "Resort Notification Services", can get rid of my Timeshare Maintenance Fees. When I started asking questions about that, The man I was speaking to started yelling at me and saying he had 3 questions to ask and if I did not answer those questions he had nothing else to say.
I really think this is a scam. Where are they getting our information from? Who are these people? Someone needs to broadcast this onTV, radio and in every newspaper so people will be aware of this.- Caller: Resort Notification Services
- VeraI would agree that this is a scam. Called our vacation service and notified them of this letter. They reported that there are many trying to scam people into selling their packages or eliminating maintenance fees without contacting the current contract holder. They get a lump sum payment from you and you are still stuck with your current package or maintenance fees. Please stay away.

- Kalena53| 1 replyGot a letter also from Resort Notification Services today, no call. Stated same as above, that we qualify to permanently eliminate all future timeshare maintenance fees! Definitely a scam! the phone number on mine is 888-983-4513. Seems they just change the phone number.Address is 5348 Vegas Dr. Suite 342, Las Vegas, NV. Usually a suite number is just a P.O. box in a building.

- PD replies to Kalena53We also rec'd a letter from Resort Notification Services 5348 Vegas DR Suite 342 Las Vegas, NV repeating everything previously mentioned from others. My husband called the number 1-800-983-4518 and was told to come to the Portland, OR City Center Marriott Courtyard on Sunday 11:00am for a no obligation presentation. Watch out everyone...suspect a scam here.

Las Vegas - Sharon| 1 replyLike many other posters, we received a letter from Resort Notification Services, located at 5348 Vegas Dr. Suite 243. It stated that we "must respond no later than April 17th..."
The letter says that we qualify to permanently eliminate all future Timeshare Maintenance Fees. We've never owned a timeshare, nor has anyone else in our family...and we never will.
This is definitely a scam.- Caller: Resort Notification Services
- Sandy replies to ErnieI believe that what these companies do is sell a "package" of time shares to time share/resort companies like RCI. The catch is that they charge you, the time share owner, a fee (the last I was quoted was $3,500) to take your time share over. When I called Resort Notification Services and insisted that I wanted to know their fee before I agreed to meet with anyone, the rep HUNG UP ON ME! I suspect that this organization is less reputable than some of the others. BEWARE.
- Donna| 5 repliesDo Not!!! I Repeat, do not bite! Throw the thing away. My mom and dad were victims of these scam artists.
My parents were trying to eliminate their three timeshares as they are very much senior citizens. These scam artists not only called once but multiple times. They charged my parents $3500 the first time and called back a few weeks later to charge for the other timeshare. When dad gave the number again, they took $3500 again and turned around the same day and called to say that card didn't work, could they have another account number. He believed the card did not work so he gave them another number. Well, as you would suspect, they took out another $3500. Dad was taken a total of three times. By the time mom saw their credit card bills, she informed her kids(me included). First, we took the cards away! Then, we notified the police and filed a report. We also spoke to a rep at Chase credit card services and she said since dad ( you know, the one with dementia) approved, there was nothing they could do. Come on! These are seniors with dementia! Nothing you can do?
Stay away from Chase Credit Card Services too!- Caller: Resort Notification Services

I received a letter from Resort Notification Services in April also, and also do not own a timeshare. I reported the company to the postal inspectors as a mail fraud at https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/
I also reported the company to the Federal Trade Commission as a timeshare/real estate fraud at www.ftc.gov
There is a complaint form and phone numbers for the Nevada attorney general's/real estate fraud office, but I could not make the complaint form work on line. There is also an e-mail link and a couple of phone numbers.

It seems to me that with an office in Florida, as proven by the zip code on the envelope, and an office in Las Vegas, as proven by the different zip code on the letter, that these scammers would fall under the RICO statute for interstate crime, but I'm not a lawyer. If anyone complains to their attorney general, or the AG in Nevada, this might be useful information.- Caller: Resort Notification Services
- JL| 1 replyI have received several of these letters from Resort Notification Services 5348 Vegas Dr. Suite 342 Las Vegas, NV 89108-2347.
Although I do not own a timeshare, my parents do. I have been to several of the resorts with my parents and attended the sales meetings with them. So I thought because they have my information, it made sense I would receive this information. I gave the letters to my mother. She however, threw them away. Thank goodness. We are in MN. I am sure they are sending them to every and anyone to see who will take the bait. It is a scam and if you willing give them your money you have no recourse in getting it back.
