None left.  Caller id simply indicated the above number along with the fact that call was "toll free."

A women named Tracy served me last week. Claim she's coming to my house and never came. She gave me a number to call for the filing party which is the same she called in from.,. But then I called to speak to her and they claimed she doesn't work there. Nice try. Tracy, I would practice a Bit on your scare tactics. They make no sense

They called, and said call this number 855-344-7222, file number xxxx.  I checked my messages on 12/28/2016. Someone was to come to my house, I guess on 12/28/2016 or my place of business so that they can serve me papers. I was told I needed to have valid identification and a supervisor as a witness to sign papers. So far nothing. This is the second time someone like this called me this year. And the first one was definitely a scammer.

Received the same type of phone call from Ms Morgan about a subpoena. Will block them.

Omg I received this type of phone call this morning. They had my full name but I said I could receive the message for that person. They weren't too happy about that. So the woman said she had a law suit pending against me and to get back to her before the "documents "leave her office on Monday morning.. Shouldn't I be receiving something like that in the mail not by phone call? I'm so tired of these scam calls.. just another number to block.

So I received a call from them and their tactic worked on me, i payed what i owed and then i tried looking them up and i cant find them anywhere, really wish i found this post sooner

Call your original creditor. If they are legit you will get sent to them. If its not then you did. Call original creditor. Alot of these places are not on the net. I thought i made same mistake but i contacted comenity bank and they sent me to them after about 3 other agencies. Happy hunting

Ignore and block these calls. If you were the subject of a pending civil lawsuit, you'd have received a letter from the attorney for the other party.  You'd have a paper trail.

Then, if a case was filed, you'd have received a summons delivered to you by someone licensed to serve process in your locality.  You would NOT have first heard about any civil law case from some scammery-scummery debt collector who cold calls you and starts demanding money.

You can check this out yourself by simply going down to the local main civil court and checking the defendants civil list.  The court clerks are usually glad to help and are familiar with these kinds of scams.

Where, exactly did the payments go?  Do you have the name of the payee?  Could you post it here.  Do you have an address for the payee?  Could you post that here?
