Threatened to report the issue to my county clerks office. Did not mention what the issue was about. I do not have any outstanding debts. The bills I do owe are being paid. As much as you work to take care of your business you have people who work just as hard to come up with ways to take it from you.

I too am getting calls from these folks, they are up in the calls from one time and now they are calling up to 8 and 9 times a day. I try not to answer but it is the same message, they are looking for _____ Esparza and that they are about file court papers and if we know the whereabouts of this relative.  I can't believe this collection company's what they stoop to....Why can't someone do something about this....

The number that the people call from is not the same number they leave on the voicemail.  If if did have a debt with a collection agency it certainly wouldnt be any kind of debt that requires a warrant.

If they are bothering you, report them:

I came home to find a message on my machine to call the number or they would file a claim against me with the local courthouse. The automated name they said was unrecognizable, but wasn't me. I can't guess how many messages I've had that just had the last part about "local courthouse". I know I am not behind on anything, my credit is great, so I didn't pay any attention until today when I head the entire message. After calling the number left I was routed to the "next available representative" which went to a Voicemail that doesn't take messages. No identification on any of the messages - I did a search and per the white pages it came up as !!!!!! Identity Theft, high risk.
Well, who would have guessed that? Beware!

I am being harassed by them

Numerous calls threating me and to my family

Received call - not about me. Threatening me about my granddaughter.  Said formal complaint filed against her.  Calling my # to say if I don't give them her personal info County Court will be notified. This is a scam.

Using two different phone numbers.  1st (855) 386-1187 2nd (855) 444-7713.  The caller claims I took out a Payday loan from an online company that is owned and operated by Pack Management Group.  I told them I would be willing to pay by Visa or MasterCard right there on the spot if they would provide me with the amount of the debt, date debt was incurred, and the website I allegedly signed up for this payday loan.  They would not provide me with any information regarding this debt.  No info... No pay.  Let's play.

Why would you offer to pay them on the spot?  They are required by law to do this:

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
