called my cell phone came up Unknown caller; let VM saying that they were Legal support a bill got forward to them to receive past due bill left case number gave me 24 hrs to report to them said that someone would serve me papers, and wanted to know my income...and possible cease property that isn't even mine (the place I live at is in no way shape or form mine, it belongs to that house is stay at.)

They called me left a message that they were from Legal services...that they wanted my income and so forth...when they called it came up Unknown...this happened 8-12-15 when did you get the call...did you ever call them back

They called my home phone, left message saying they were going to file something?? against me.  Legal Support Services. 24 hours to respond.

Called my number looking for someone else, when I attempted to explain that I had no contact the ..... Rudely told me I was listed as a source of contact and I was hung up on. When I called back, I was called an old broad and asked what my problem was. The ... Again stated he could not remove my contact information since the person they were looking for put me down as a source of reference. Very ignorant/rude individual that claimed to be a manager. Hey asshiole. Florida law states you cannot call and harass people and definitely people that the debt is not for. I have NEVER spoken to anyone so rude!  And yes, they make the message seem as though the individual they are looking for requested legal services. Call comes up unknown, this is a call about bad debt! Not court issued legal documents- a collection agency. No government agency would speak in the matter this employee did to me.

I received a called from " Unknown", so when I answer  she states that I am being serve... a complain agaisnt me about something? and when I Ask whats the complain is for she could not give me any detail and ask me to call a number if I wanted more detail. She even gave me a file number and told me to call this number 8553938081. Then of course stupid me I called it and someone said legal services, and When I give the file# I was transfer to somebody moment later a women answered, when I gave her the file # she was telling me that Im going to be serve if I do not work with them about
This specific cc debt that I had. She post as sweet, caring and ready to help me. She was even giving me an advise. Moments after I explain what had happen and she starting to tell me that this cc I have I can pay it by using my other cc ( she was looking at my Credit report ) & telling me that I have a remaining balance available that I could use as first payment  and start from there then she can work with me for the remaining balance as an installment. Of course dumd [***] as I am and scared to death to be taken to court and paying more I believed her.  I gave her my other cc to pay some. And she told me also that their going to email me the paper work to showi my payment... Etc. Few hours later I called as she gave me extension#. And name. And told her I still have not receive any email and she states I will get it by end of the day. That email never arrive  So I called my cc company to report a fraud. The name of the company thay they say they were was first financial partner and the girl name was laura cannon at ext 2116. Please be aware.

This is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this,  all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.  They also use the “process server” who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number.  Now why would a “process server” want to do you, a stranger, a favor, and at the same time not get paid to deliver the papers?

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

They called my cell phone and asked if I was going to be home tomorrow so I could get "served". I asked, what am I being charged with or sued for, and he said it was a sealed file and he couldn't give me that information. I said don't ever call this number again and hung up. He called right back and left a voicemail stating his name is Eric Reed  and was calling to discuss a matter that was sent to his office in consideration of legal action including the filing of a lawsuit or a complaint with the courts. He then said if I have any questions or need to discuss, to call 855-393-8081. What was most striking is that not once was the name of his company mentioned. I called a few hours later to try to find out the name of this company, but the woman who answered the phone claimed it was just an answering service for multiple companies, however, I if I gave her my name and date of birth, she'd be able to look up my file number. What a crock. Don't give these people ANY of your personal information. They are trying to scare you with the threat of legal action, but won't even tell you who they are and what the so called legal action is for. They also made calls to my elderly parents and ex-husband. I think it's time to file an FTC complaint.

If you have fell victim to these people, go on the Federal Trade Commission Website and report it! That's how they get shut down. ftc.gov

Received a call on my cell from an "UNAVAILABLE" name and number on caller-ID on 8/25/15 at noon.  Asked if I had received a court summons to appear in court.  I said I had not and she said they keep sending the summons but it keeps getting sent back to sender.  I asked what it was about, she said she had no information due to it being a personal matter between myself and the company.  I asked well what is the name of the company and she said she did not have that information either.  She said she could give me a number to call if I had any questions and that number is 885-393-8081.  I did not call before looking it up and I found all these complaints regarding the same number so I am reporting the same as it happened to me.

Rude arrogant people who will not transfer you to a Nicole Thomas, the person initiating the call.  Name calling jerk named Lawrence who asks for "case no" yet doesn't transfer call.....and there is no one by the name of Nicole, so why are you harassing me?...not only me, my family?.....

Yes they left me the same exact message and now today 8-26-2015 they called again came up unknown and left the same message again...

Saying they were from legal aid or something like that...That they were going to serve papers on me in 24 hrs..This is the 2-3 time they have called me in a month.

Called me asking for my father and they stated my address. Said to have him call immediately so that they could serve be papers. The mans name was Mark Wallace and he said he was from Legal Support Services.

I received a voice message from This person mark winfield. Telling me that they are going to file charges against me. They gave a xxx ase number i called my local office of clerk of courts to see if there was any cases pending i gave her the case number she said there has to be certain letters in front of the .  Their was none so she informed me it was a fraud..

calling my sister in mexico for my self really?? did not want to give me information when i told them i was reporting this call to the authorities.

I got at least 4 calls today. They also called my husband daughter previous place of work and current work place. Said his name was bob Peterson gave a case # said needed to get documents to me he said he was with legal support services . Or I will b served . The call to my husband same message said wanted to make sure I would b around between 10am and 2pm to serve documents. He also threatened my place of work he would come to her business and serve me so she better make sure I call him back. Never showed up to serve at work or home as of now.
After reading the scam on these comments I won't call back.

They called me this morning from an unavailable phone number.  I listened to the voicemail message and they said that they were contracted to work for Legal Support Services.  They told me to call back at 855-393-8081 and that if I did not call back they were going to file paperwork against me.  I feel that that called me a couple of months ago and did the same thing.  Happy to say that I never got served.
