Invest in a call blocker.  No one can garnish or lower  your SS payment except US courts and federal government.  But that would only be after a long process of negotiation and hearings.  No one is going to serve you with anything.  These people are scammers.   They think because of your age you are vulnerable.  That's why they keep bothering you.  Just keep reporting them.  Block their calls and just ignore them.

    Report them:

http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection  (Threatening criminal prosecution to collect a civil debt is a clear violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Act)

Also contact your local attorney general

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You might consider going to the media too.

No debt collector can garnish anyone's wages.  Only a judge can do that and that's only at the end of a court hearing where all parties are given a chance to make their case.  Garnishments are strictly limited under the laws of various states and some states do not allow them.  This is a total scam.

People are complaining because they are being harassed for money they do not owe. They are complaining because this company violates the FDCPA as often as their employees breathe.  How's that for starters?
And, we know why YOU are complaining - because you don't like it that people are catching onto your scammy illegal ways.

Received call from blocked/unknown phone # witha message to call 855.393.8081 about a Complaint and gave my 72 year old Mother's name.  I called the # back to be told by 'Byron' from First Financial Partner Group that they were a legal service that prepares the Process summons for criminal court.  Put me on hold for almost 4 minutes to 'pul the file' as their system was down so wanted to pull by Mom's name.  Came back on to say that since I was not the person he wasn't sure he should tell me anything.  When I explained that I couldn't help him with getting any 'civil case summons' served to my Mother without information, their system crashed again and they would call me back in 10 minutes.  No call back.  Only problem now is they have my phone#

The company calls themselves First Financial and their fax number is (424) 332-5341; their claim is that they are trying to collect for Imagine Mastercard; however I had a bankruptcy five years ago in which this was covered under.  In addition, they claimed to have access my credit report via an inquiry which was a lie; I have Lifelock and anytime my information is accessed I receive and alert regularly. Don't fall for their "SCAM", report them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at (855) 411-CFPB (2372); as well as the Local Attorney General's Office.

Callers breaking multiple laws. lying about who they are and what they can do. Look up your rights on line and also look up limitations of debt for all 50 states. You can also write a cease and desist letter. Most of all report them to all the bureaus.

I received a voicemail from 844-394-6065, "mueller and associates". I made 3 different calls back and every time same guy "Henry" answered call and he never identified company name or any info till after I asked why they were calling my number. He wanted me to give social I refused. After asking ME if he had permission to talk to me about my husband he listed off last 4 of my husbands social, his bday, our address, my phone # and my in laws phone # and proceeded to tell me about a loan from 10 years ago they claim money is owed on and wanted to settle for 10% if I would pay by tomorrow. He claimed they sent info a month ago and "someone must have not given me the mail" I told no knowledge of this debt and wanted them to send documentation of all info and he said they can't email because"some employees have previously used company email for personal use so need supervisor ok" and that supervisor was in meeting but he would call back in 15 min. Still haven't heard back. Have a hard time believing this is anything. More than a scam.
