I got a call this morning. Woman said they were Edwards and Associates and looking for someone with the last name as ours. Keri Conrady could we contact her and have her give them her case ID #. It was a matter of them sending legal documents to her. If we couldn't contact her, call them back. What the hell? I was called from a private number and the phone# above is the contact #. Idiots!

Some guy named Hunter called to say we had a delivery and to call 855-415-0620 to claim it - so we called and they answered "litigation" - we hung up

My husband gets a call from this number 1-855-415-0620 stating he is the contact persons on file for me, if he knows has to get ahold of me to have me call them back with a case # (which she provided) stating if I did not get back with her she would have her client proceed with the Civil Suit

Not sure what this was about I called the number back and get a voicemail, I left a message asking what this was about and for them to call me (that was last week) NO CALL BACK, what the heck if this really is a legal thing why have I not heard of this before why have I not received anything in the mail like a certified letter, etc. the NORMAL steps you go through to get to someone and inform them of the "LEGAL PROCESS"?

OMY I have better things to do with my day then to worry about something I know is NOT WORTH my time and effort go get a REAL JOB leave us hard working people alone

Someone by the name of Stephanie said she was also with the Edward Law Firm, and there were several complaints listed against me and a litigation was going to be filed. I needed to contact them immediately at that number.

Got a call from brent Thompson said he was with Edwards and associates he also left message to my uncles phone which is a new # not listed they stated they were trying to deliver legal documents from a debt dated from 2001 till 2003.From citi bank I told them I would have to contact my lawyer before I worry about this matter which I denied knowing anything about...Guess I will wait and see if i get served

called 10/11/18 from law firm, please have them to stop calling

Got a call today from number 855 415 0620 left me voicemail saying a had documents that werent delivered and that i had to call them back. Has to be a scam, cuz i sure as hell didnt send no document or have no issues no were. Wish these damn calls would stop

Definitely a scam. Legal documents get sent certified mail.

Received several calls with No caller ID that I didnt answer than they called my 90 year old father and got him all upset. I than called back they said they are Edwards legal firm and collecting a debt from 12 years ago I never heard of. They said they are filing a civil action. They threatened to go after my vehicle and home. They had my criminal record and credit report. They were nasty and  very threatening. Not sure why they can do all these things to people.

Got call with that number asking for a family member of ours from edward associated that there was a civil suit against them. They provided a case number and a number which is the same as thei thread 855 415 0620. Didn't call back because this doesn't make sense. Although the lady on the msg sounded almost real

Call from a man named Hunter stating I was listed as a contact number for my husband and the message was urgent, something about litigation.  They also contacted my son and said the same thing.  I absolutely know it is a scam because for one, they would never contact you by phone, two, they would send it certified mail and three, I know our bills and what we owe and don't owe.  Absolutely pathetic! My husband has terminal cancer and does not deserve this harassment!

855-415-0620 called my son stating they needed to speak to me about a civil case filing. He was given a case number and never a name just stated litigation department.
Today 10-15-2018 I called the 855-415-0620 number and they answer "litigation". I asked "litigation for who"? She said here name was Serena and I asked "who do you work for"? She said if you give me your court filing number it would help so I gave her the number and she said my name and stated I was being sued by Summit medical center. I said "they aren't even in business anymore besides that I have insurance that payed 100% and then I said "I haven't gotten any civil court papers filed to me" and she stated that nothing has been filed yet and this was a final attempt to settle. I said "if it hasn't been filed in court how do you have a civil court claim number"? She started getting aggressive and stated "I am not going to argue with you, we'll see you in court". I stated "ok then give me the date of service and patient id#". She said she could give me a record number. I stated "no I want the date of service and patient id and a phone number of the person that hired you to get money out of me. She gave me 479-471-4300. She said if you don't want what I have then goodbye see you in court.
I called the number given to me and it was Sparks Van Buren administration office (who bought Summit hospital)I explained to the lady about this call and she said it sounded like a scam. I wanted to be sure, so she transfered me to the billing department management and the lady went back to 2000 and said I didn't owe Summit anything and she said if they call again to tell them "go ahead and sue me".
I called the 855-415-0620 and a guy answered "litigation this is Hunter" and I asked what is the name of your law office and he said "Edwards and associates" and I asked where they were located he said "California". He asked for my case filing number and transfered my call and it was answered by "Serena" and she was very rude when I said I contacted Summit and I don't owe a bill and she said I tried to give you your record number and you refused to take it, so goodbye see you in court.
Sorry for the rambling, I just wanted to tell the whole story to help anyone else out there being scammed by these low lifes! The lady in the billing department at Sparks (Summit) said that she had a lady come in last week who had paid  $500 to this scam! I also made a complaint to the Arkansas attorney general's office.

I basically had the same thing happen today. She was after a loan that was 23 years old. What can we do about this?

If you can get the actual name, phone and physical address of this outfit, there are a few things you can do. This is a criminal debt collection scam, and they will NOT want to provide you with even a name, much less an address. They are likely to become nasty and abusive since they know how difficult it is bring any kind of legal measures to bear. A search of this site show a goodly number of posts about "Edwards and Associates" and it is a good bet they use other names. "Spencer, Edwards and Associates" may be one of them.

There is a post by Gunnar on page 2 that gives you an idea of who you are fighting. If you post a reply to me, I should be able to find you more specific info to get you started.  It is not easy, but sometimes you can make some trouble for these scammers if you have time and are patient.

I got a call from a private number and they left me a voicemail. A woman claiming to be from Edward and associates law firm looking for my mom, left her name and said she had a legal suit pending in her county and that I was left as a contact, gave me this number to call and her supposed case id, which of course, no one would give private information like that. I told my mom and she confirmed that she never put me as a contact on anything for her and we both figured it was a scam. I've lived half the country away for the past decade, so I don't see why anyone would call me looking for her.

The same thing happened just today, I live on opposite sides of the country as my mother in law and they are looking for my husband to give them info on his mom.  It's a scam and probably a debt collector of sorts and they get this information from online like 411.com and see who people may be associated with and gives out numbers and addresses of possible family members.  It's a scare tactic by a debt collector that doesn't know the laws.

Received a call from this number saying my husband needed to contact about a ligation against him. We have no bills and have paid everything before due  they are scam artists.
